I needed a small heater for my small 4' x 8' greenhouse I set up in my garage for some sub-tropical plants, it keeps the temperature inside the greenhouse between 65 to 73 degrees depending on the temperature outside the house and in the garage, so far so good. It's close to the end of November in northern TX, it's not the coldest month yet, I shall see if it will hold up later.

Capsule Solo Ceramic Heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start out by saying that I am pretty much always cold and my office is ALWAYS freezing. As soon as I received this heater I knew I would be taking it to work with me. The portability is super convenient for travel and allows me to move it easily from floor to desk based on my needs. Although it comes with a dial for heat level, I pretty much always have it on high while in use and I am able to easily turn it off when I'm warm enough. Depending on the location of the heater I am able to tilt the face up or down which allows me to control the airflow direction. This is really important because it allows me to prevent heat directly in my face or directed at the floor. I have used this every day I have worked in office since receiving it and I really love it! Even after running for hours the unit does not become too hot to touch/move which is a huge bonus. I am confident putting it on the floor knowing it has a safety feature to automatically shut off if it is accidentally tipped over. It has quickly become my favorite office accessory, and it's adorable!

Amazing little heater

First of all, I am ALWAYS cold, and have a space heater under my desk at work, but it's loud and bulky and not that powerful, and it only warms my legs. This little portable heater is small, and I worried it wouldn't keep me very warm… I put it on top of my desk, plugged it in, and was shocked to feel the amount of warm air it out out! It warms my entire upper body, which is honestly crazy and mind blowing! Lol! Sometimes the hot air in my eyeballs is uncomfortable, but it's awesome that I can just tilt the screen part and direct the air lower. Best of all for me, my hands get so cold, and this makes it super easy to quickly thaw out my fingers. It's lightweight and easy to move around. Sometimes when my toes are really cold I'll just pop it down under my desk (because it works way better than my OG space heater). I would 10/10 recommend this heater to anyone who tends to run cold!!! Oh, and I have had zero issues with blowing a breaker (which I know from experience heaters can do), and it's super quiet, to the extent that my coworkers can't tell when I have it on!

No More Cold Fingers

For me, I feel cold even during the hot summers, and I even wear my sweaters all year long. A personal heater is what I've always wanted but never had one until now. Currently, my cubicle desk sits next to a window and two AC vents are right over me, so I'm cold all-the-time.
                    The DeLonghi CAPSULE Solo fixed that problem! I'm using it on the floor almost daily and it delivers adjustable nice heat to my legs without having any of my nearby coworkers noticing or getting bothered by it since it's virtually silent. The vent has the ability to tilt so I can redirect the heat towards my feet or higher toward my thighs, and it never makes me feel overheated. I love how it's very easy to use, and I feels it's safe to handle. The style design looks very modern and contemporary and, I don't think I've ever seen such a cute design before. One of my favorite features is the nice loop-shaped rubber handle, and the fact the air doesn't feel dry when it's on. I would definitely buy it as a gift for either a woman or man. The color combination is cream/cappuccino which is subtle, but I'm curious to see other color combinations too. I cannot say enough good things about it, so I highly recommend it!

Loving the DeLonghi Capsule Solo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little gadget has been very useful for extra heat during our desert winter nights and mornings. We have mostly been using it in the bathroom so the kids aren't shivering when they get out of their baths or showers. My wife uses it when she works from home for a few days, which I appreciate as this is electric so we don't have to run the central heating (and add to those gas bills!) when only one person is in the house. It's great that it's portable, the vent can be turned up or down, and it heats up a small area well enough. It is also safe and small enough for the kids to carry by themselves into their play area and bring it back to the bathroom. Now if only a battery-operated one would come out so we can take it camping for my wife!

keep warm and keep your cool with the gas bills

It's small enough to fit under my desk without taking away from my foot room, and its adjustable power is enough to heat up my feet quickly! Since I can tilt the front down without worry (due to the tip-over automatic shutoff!), I can focus the heat on my feet without overheating the rest of me…isn't getting older fun LOL
                    The handy strap means I can carry it to another spot without burning my fingers, but be aware it can spin as it dangles.
                    I look forward to trying the fan-only function when the weather warms up!

Power in a small device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I opened the box, I had to show off how cute the design of this personal heater is to my husband! I got the Sand Beige color, which is neutral, and compliments our home decor. With its small footprint, it blends in, yet looks adorable when you do notice it! It's smaller than other personal space heaters I've used before, but puts off a great amount of heat.
                    I often get cold, so I use it in my work-from-home office, which keeps me from having to heat the whole house while I'm working in one space most of the day. It's so quiet, I barely notice it at times, which is great for when I have a day full of video meetings - I don't have to remember to turn it off before hopping on a call. I also really like the adjustable grate, which allows me to direct the flow of air. I haven't really had use for the handle yet, and kind of wish it were detachable. The cord was a little short for my needs, and so I had to get creative with where I plugged it in, since it shouldn't be plugged into an extension cord. It also took me a bit to figure out how to pick the correct temperature setting, but once I got the hang of it, it became a cozy and functional addition to my home!

Cute and Functional Addition to my Workspace

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This personal heater was wonderful. It was easy to use and provides a comfortable heat that made me feel cozy.
                    It was very easy to adjust the heat temperature with the dial. I love the you can tilt the front panel to direct the heat either higher up or lower. The “tip” over device is a wonderful safety feature. (It is a little prong on the bottom of the device/personal heater that needs to be depressed in order for it to stay on). If it needs to be moved the handle makes it very easy to do that without burning oneself. Finally, I love that it is so quiet.
                    This personal heater can be used while working (like doing notes at a computer), crafting, reading a book, or watching TV. I love that we can set the apartment to one temperature and if one person happens to be cold or a little chilly, they can warm up a bit by using the personal heater without having to heat up the entire apartment (which ends up taking longer to warm and also could potentially make everyone else too warm). This device has been great to use lately, especially with the cold fronts that seem to come out of no where after it's been warm for a few days.
                    A couple things that I would change if I could are: 1) a longer chord. I feel like I had to pick and choose where I put it due to having to plug it in directly to the wall (a safety precaution) and then roping it around possible furniture to be far enough away for more safety precautions. 2) a way to make it more child safe. The front plate can get extremely hot (understandably). So if there could be a way to make it not retain so much heat or be so hot upon touching it, it could keep curious minds or wandering fingers more safe. Yes, we should be watching our kids but just adding another layer of safety for “just in case” would make this product even better.

Wonderful personal heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DeLonghi Capsule Solo Personal Ceramic Heater is a great addition to your home office or other personal space at first glance. It is a well-constructed and good-looking piece of equipment, and doesn't look utilitarian or electronic, unlike many other space heaters. On the highest heat setting, it heats a small-to-medium room quite well if given some time to work. I liked the white and beige color scheme of the device, and the carry strap is a nice touch if you'll be moving this device around while it's still hot. I also liked that the faceplate of the heater can be angled up or down depending on where you'd like to direct the heat.
                    This space heater does have somewhat of a fatal flaw, however. True to its minimalistic and aesthetic design, this heater doesn't have any temperature indicators or controls other than the single dial knob. The heater has an internal thermostat which you are theoretically able to set by simply turning the heater up as high as it will go, and then once the room you're in is at a comfortable temperature, you dial down the knob until you hear and feel a "click". This sets the heater to the current room temperature, and when the room falls below that set temperature, the heater is supposed to turn back on until that set temperature is reached once again. In practice, though, my experience was that once that internal temperature was set via the "click", the little heater never wanted to turn back on once it had decided the room was an adequate temperature and turned off. This meant that I got progressively colder until I turned the knob up more, prompting the heater to come back on. Eventually, this led to the heater being at full temperature all the time, because otherwise it would turn off and never come back on again. I believe this may be a flaw in the internal thermostat's location on the device - perhaps it is too close to the faceplate (which is ceramic and may therefore stay warm longer), thereby causing an artificially high reading? Whatever the reason, I think this heater would be much better served by having the temperature dial determine temperature of the air coming out of the heater without the internal thermostat turning the device on and off, with the caveat that the user would just have to turn the heater all the way off if the user got warm enough to not need the heater for a while.
                    When the heater was properly on, I enjoyed it both on my desk as a general space heater and under my desk to warm up my toes on cold winter days. It never got so hot that I felt like I was drying out, which is a big downside that I've encountered with many other space heaters. All in all, I enjoyed the visual aesthetic of this heater, and it is certainly not out of place in even the most stylish home office. I do wish that the temperature knob was simply a temperature knob without the "smart" thermostat, but even so, this little device has been nice to have on those cold days in the home office when you don't want to turn up the heat in your whole home. If you're looking for detailed and accurate temperature control, this device may not be the heater for you, but if you're just looking for something small and cute to warm you up (and you're okay with potentially having to leave it on the warmest setting to get it to stay on), the DeLonghi Capsule Solo may be a good choice.

Aesthetic Little Space Heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I are fortunate that our respective employers still allow us to work from home several days a week. The one thing we have argued about over three years of WFH? The temperature! In the winter (we are in the northeast) the thermostat is set at 68, which runs a little chilly for me when I'm just sitting at my computer..I was hoping that this heater would give me just a bit more warmth to my immediate working area. Pros: size is perfect to have on a desk, it's esthetically pleasing (light/ neutral color palette, minimal buttons) and it is quiet enough that no one noticed it was on during Zoom calls. Cons: the heater just didn't warm me up enough, for long enough. I set the thermostat to the max setting - it would shut off about five minutes in, and that was it…? I tried moving it to other areas of my house - my bedroom and our finished basement are both a bit colder - but got similar results. Just when I was getting toasty, it would turn off and stay off for awhile. Unfortunately this did not work for my needs.
