Latches

When I first used this cooler, it seemed like the ice melted rather quickly. After doing some reading, I prechilled by putting ice in and letting the plastic get cold. After putting in new ice, it held for 3 days in the summer in the sun. Even when being opened and closed to get that sweet, sweet cold beer out. 
Well made cooler that's going to last me a while.

Love this cooler.  Have this and the lunchbox.  Extremely rugged, love the latches, and I get several days of ice retention during the summer.

Awesome cooler

This past June we made a 12 hr trip to Florida, and kept drinks (water/soft drinks) iced-down, with 45qt cooler in the bed of the truck. Hours of travel with the cooler in the direct sun, opened at rest stops, and arrived in Florida with some water in the bottom of the cooler, but still had ice remaining over the drinks.

Worked as expected

This cooler is a beast. This a great roto molded cooler. Very durable and keeps drinks cold. I brought it on a fishing trip recently and worked great. For the price I think this cooler is a steal compared to other roto molded coolers. Only down side to this cooler is that it is extremely heavy when fully loaded, so be careful lifting.

The cooler is great but both the latches broke after the first time I took it out to the lake for a whole day. Also the replacements are nowhere to be found so now it's just a really heavy regular cooler since there's no latches to create a tight seal

I am very disappointed with this purchase. I buy everything dewalt, I bought this cooler and the same day used it at the farm. The ice lasted maybe 3 hours and was turned to water. The worst part was trying to open the cooler once it was shut, nearly impossible to open due to tmy gut seal and no handle on the lid. I will be returning. Major let down
