The material is constructed from point-bond polypropylene, a durable plastic fabric known for its strength under stress. It resists stretching, tearing, and puncturing, which is important in areas that experience shifting soil, heavy mulch, or foot traffic. Weed-Barrier Pro is UV-treated to slow surface degradation; however, like most landscape fabrics, it must be fully covered with mulch, rock, soil, or another protective layer to maintain long-term performance. 

The 4-foot by 300-foot bulk roll provides wide coverage for large residential and commercial projects. We just cut the barrier into the sizes we needed. We put mulch/dirt over top of the weed barrier and it has worked wonders!
