Deadly Proof is the first book in Rachel Dylan's Atlanta Justice series. This legal romantic suspense novel will capture the readers' attention from the very beginning and keep them eagerly anticipating what will happen next. Rachel Dylan's descriptive writing makes the readers feel like they are right there in the courtroom as the action is taking place. Readers will fall in love with lawyer Kate Sullivan, private investigator Landon James, and the cast of supporting characters who will be featured in the next books in the series. I really enjoyed the faith of the characters and their spiritual growth throughout the novel. This was the first book I read by Rachel Dylan, but it definitely won't be the last. I am already starting book 2 in the series. I definitely recommend this book to fans of legal thrillers and romantic suspense. You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful Romantic Suspense

If you enjoy a read with you heart in your throat, this one will probably do it. You never knew when the next shoe would drop, and just when you feel safe, boom or grab. People are murdered or just disappear, and why, greed seems to be the answer here.
The author kept me on my toes, and I felt like I was reading something that was in the paper, there is often a lawsuit against a drug company, and what drug doesn't seem to come with warnings?
Surprises abound right up until the end, never would have guessed what happened, and add to that a bit of romance. A real page-turner here, I wasn't able to put this one down, I had to know the ending!
I received this book through Lit Fuse Publicity Book Tours, and was not required to give a positive review.

Greed

Deadly Proof is the first book by Rachel Dylan that I have read but I'm looking forward to reading many more. I enjoy a good legal thriller and that's exactly what I got with Deadly Proof. After reading the book and then looking the author up I'm pretty sure I know why it was so good. Rachel Dylan is an experienced attorney and I think that lends to the authenticity of her story.

The legal case involved is that of Mason Pharmaceutical knowingly causing the death of many people by allowing a drug to come to market when the adverse side effects were known to the company but hidden from the public. It's a class action lawsuit and Kate Sullivan has been appointed as the lead counsel to prosecute the case.

There's a lot at stake for everyone involved. Mason Pharmaceutical could lose millions in revenue and the directors seem to be willing to go to any lengths to avoid that. Kate's good friend and fellow lawyer, Ethan Black, has been retained to represent Mason Pharmaceutical. He quickly finds himself wondering just how far he's willing to bend the rules to win this case. Meanwhile people are dying, disappearing, and being threatened. Is Kate safe? Probably not but former Army Ranger turned P.I. Landon James along with his friends Cooper and Noah, are bound and determined to see that she survives the threats.

This is a very quick read because the action and intrigue is non-stop. It's a story that is written where you think that you are being told about what is happening from both perspectives, but look out because there's a twist at the end that I didn't see coming.

Deadly Proof  is book one in the Atlanta Justice series. I took a peak at the next book in the series and it looks like the main characters in this series are going to be the men, Landon, Cooper, and Noah. Book two is Cooper's story. It seems as if the series can be read as stand alone novels but we'll have to wait and see for sure. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series and if you are a fan of legal thrillers this should be your cup of tea as well.

Deadly Proof by Rachel Dylan is a great mystery book; book 1 of the Atlanta Justice Series. This was my first law mystery thriller book, and I will say that I enjoyed it very much. 

The book is about Kate Sullivan, a stubborn young woman litigator with an interesting past. She will not stop until her client's gain justice for the inconceivable crimes that have been committed against them. Her faith keeps her going for her clients. She may even put herself into harms way in order to gain closure for herself and her clients. 

Kate Sullivan is handling a case against Mason Pharmaceutical Company, a pharmaceutical company that has released drugs that have harmed individuals that have taken the medications. Kate's newest client, Ellie Proctor, an employee scientist comes to her for help. Kate was hesitant from the first moment. However, Ellie had shown some light into the case at hand.

Several days after Kate and Ellie meant, Ellie is found dead in an Atlanta parking garage. Kate hires private investigator Landon James to help dig deeper into the case. However, their relationship grows closer as friends due to the threats Kate begins having against her. 

Landon James is a former Army Ranger, who is very wise and wants nothing to happen to Kate. He warns her of the dangers and risks, but Kate is very stubborn. Will Kate heed Landon's warning?

Landon's faith is shaky after his deployment in the Middle East. Will Landon's faith rekindle in order to help save Kate from the danger he senses or will he succumb to his past?

As always, I did enjoy this book. It was very good. At first, it took me a while to get to the plot  and story line, but I soon was enjoying the book so much that the cover began to curl. :-) 

I want to lastly thank the Bethany House Publishers for the opportunity to read this fine book. I look forward to the sequels in this series. I think I can already guess who and what the next book will be about. There were some hints, but you'll have to find out what I'm talking about by reading the book.
