It looks like I can modify it in order to get my desktop microphone closer to my face for better sound pickup.  It doesn't seem to have a 1/4"" mic screw, but it does seem to have a hole for my current stand's screw

Shipped fast and looks as described. Could be a little more sturdy but for the price It was totally worth it.

It's okay for some reason when I tried to attach the mic holder it's didn't want to stay so I used super be glue so I wood say 10/10

Works exactly as designed - I have two of them, one coming off each end of my workstation desk.  Saves a lot of space and cord spaghetti over having mic stands!  Totally happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #sweepstakes  Pros: -very easy to setup, no tools required, all screw ins or clamps -can extend / retract the mic with ease  Slight Cons: -no shock mount, so I wouldn't recommend clamping it to the same desk you are using (unless you like to annoy your friends), but at this price point i wouldn't expect it -the screw where it holds the mic isn't very adjustable, but again, for this price point it does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great with my Audio-Technica AT2020 with shock mount.  It's a little smaller than I expected and was concerned the mic would be too heavy.  However, this was not the case.  This boom arm works perfectly and stays out of my way when in use.  I got it on sale at a great price, which made it even better.  I liked it so much, I purchased one for a friend.  #sweepstakes

Great mic boom arm for the price!

Well. Its just a stand no clamp no mount terrible bending quality

Bad mic

Came in and the threads are to weak to actually hold the mic up.

Threads are too weak, had to super glue the mount.

Broke upon assembly. Cheaply made garbage. Just putting it together, it fell apart, the spring fell off, and when screwing the mic holder onto the nut, it stripped before I could even set it in place. The mic mount is cheap plastic and it stripped as I was simply screwing it on to find the end of the screw. I did not even use pressure. It just simply gave out as I gently spun the mount onto the screw. I could epoxy it but when moving it, I could see that the spring holder on one side was missing plastic! So, the spring will shoot off whenever I move it around, which you are want to do as you adjust your mic. You get what you pay for but I thought at least it would WORK. Why even make let alone sell something this inferior?

HORRIBLE product! The microphone clip does not get tight at all. Also when the microphone gets placed on the clip it cannot sustain its weight and fall. Bottom line this microphone stand does not have ability to hold the microphone in a place where you want it to be.   I have purchased this item on sale for &7, there is NO WAY someone should buy this paying over $15! I requested a refund.

DO NOT BUY! I bought it for $7, but still not WORTH IT!
