I seen some bad reviews about this item but it didnt stop me from getting it, this is a great lamp With an expensive look yes it has scratches but its to compliment the antique look! I will be getting another! Take you time setting it up or yes it will be crooked its easy to put together. When unwrapping get a garbage bag place the box inside bc it does have styrofoam inside! Other then that I love it....

This floor lamp was so easy to put together! It looks so nice in my new apartment as well. I ordered the antique finish.

Love everything about it... the quality, size, style, price and it was fairly simple to put together. Some indicated that it lends and it does if you do not take the time to twist it into the base slowly and evenly. The chippings is a part of the natural design and is not damaged in anyway. It adds to the look and is beautiful.

I liked it so much ordering another one. Easy assembly the champagne is very pretty.

A very nice base and very easy to assemble finish is a little on the poor side but will be easy to touch up with brown paint, I recommend unpacking outside as the packaging material is very messy and really gets around on floor.
Also when assembling the shade as you install the wire standing heavy metal wires, where gloves to protect fingers as when they snap into place the grab at your fingers not that it will cut you but it does not feel good.
It comes in a small so don't be surprised and think it's not all there as it is.
I feel it's a nice lamp at a great low price am sure you will also agree.

Great floor lamp at a great price.

I di not see the details on the lamp stand, so when I took it out the box I thought it was damaged. Overall good by for the price.

Overall, the lamp looks really nice for its price; however, it had a couple of nicks on the base, but i didn't want to deal with the hassle of trying to return it so, i will make due.  Also, if the lamp is sitting on carpet, the base of lamp has a tendency to sit on the cord.  There is no cord outlet on the base of the lamp to allow the cord to not run under the lamp.  It would be totally fine on a hard surface floor.  Three stars because it is a cute little lamp.

A few nicks and cord location is poor

Lamps arrived with chips all around attachments. not only paint, but  actual metal.  The shades are wrinkled and pulling apart.  VERY DISAPPOINTED. I have photos. Not at all expected!  Terrible.

Terrible Quality.  Defective

Sturdy built, easy to put together and stands straight. Ingenious lamp shade system.  As with other negative reviews, though, there must not be anybody with good eyesight in quality control (or no QC at the factory) to see the horrible finish job on the lamp metal before the unit is packaged.  I'm sure for the price what can the buyer expect.  Not worth the hassle returning it for $40.00, especially the week after Christmas (it was a present).  Should be sold at 75% discount.  As usual, Caveat Emptor.....

Caveat Emptor

Initially, I was very pleased with this lamp. However just two weeks after I bought, the switch stopped functioning.  I plugged it in directly to turn it on. About an hour later, the lamp completely shut off.  Now I have no lamp. Sine the bulb is not burned out, it is definitely the lamp.  DO NOT BUY THIS LAMP!!!
