GREAT storage, EZ install (no drilling into truck), GREAT value, comes with great hinges, box close slide, and a keyed lock. I've had other truck toolboxes before, but I tell you, this is a GREAT locking truck toolbox

I love this thing. It fit perfectly, and it's just the right size for my ranger. Came with all the hardware for an easy installation. (I dipped the J hooks in rubberized paint so they wouldn't scratch the bed rail, and I sprayed lubricant in the keyhole because it's actually on top of the box) Plastic shoeboxes fit perfectly inside.

READ MANY REVIEWS ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT SELLER WEBSITES AND BIGGEST COMPLAINT WAS THE LOCK. THEY WHERE RIGHT LOCK IS  NOT GOOD IT LOCKED BUT AS SOON AS YOU APPLIED THE LEAST LITTLE BIT OF PRESSURE WITH THE SLIDE LATCH IT POPS OPEN. NOT A GOOD THING IF YOU ARE KEEPING VALUABLE ITEMS INSIDE. TRIED ADJUSTING IT SOME BUT NOTHING WORKED. CONTACTED DEE ZEE THEY ARE SENDING ME A NEW ONE HOPE IT HELPS BUT NOT SURE UNTIL IT ARRIVES. I REALLY JUST BOUGHT THIS FOR EXTRA STORAGE ON SHOPPING TRIPS AND NEEDED THE EXTRA COVERED SPACE NOT FOR LOTS OF TOOLS AND OTHER VALUABES. SO REALLY  I AM NOT TO UPSET BECAUSE I  READ REVIEWS BEFORE I PURCHASED AND KIND OF EXPECTED THE PROBLEM. NICE BOX LOCK NOT GOOD!

It says it fits my vehicle but it gets here and i go to install it and it sits an inch too high on the wheel wells. had to cut a foot of uni strut to place on both sides to use as spacers..

the locking is garbage. the lock was loose. and i cant keep the lid locked.
