After getting free shipping to Hawaii unheard of for big pkg we were delighted to set up our hammock. And it is like a cocoon and you are literally floating as you read or drift off for a nap. This is a wonderful escape but we should have bought two of them because now one is waiting for the other to get out of it. Great product

My first and only experience with a hammock was 30+ years ago so when my fairly new wife said she wanted one I did my research and ordered up this hammock for my birthday. I could not be happier It's still a little chilly up here in the Great White North BTW one of the reasons why I bought from Hammock Universe is because they are based here in Canada so we have only hopped in it a couple of times but WE LOVE IT and I can see spending ridiculous amounts of time in the hammock this summer. 

The build quality is pretty good although the powder coating comes off on the pieces that attach to each other fairly quickly and the material of the hammock is wonderful. I am 6.3 and 265lbs so I needed a hammock that was stable and big enough for me and this one fits the bill. My wife is relatively petite and we both fit in the hammock just fine.

It is also relatively easy to setup and take down and the carrying bag is handy. I would not be taking it hiking with me heavy but I cn definitely see us taking it to the beach and other places.

The only minor issue I have is Hammock Universe social media presence - or lack thereof - and the confusing shipping information we received. But again those are minor issues given how much we have enjoyed the hammock so far. I really hope the quality of the hammock holds up for a long time

Otherwise an excellent product I will be happy to recommend and tell others about.

Hammock newbie

I purchased my hammock and stand on a Friday and it arrived on Monday it wasn't coming from far off since I live in Ottawa. As soon as it arrived I set it up which was a simple process and one I was able to do by myself. Within minutes I was relaxing in my beautiful hammock. I would highly recommend this Brazilian Double Hammock the Pastel-Stripes are gorgeous because it is soft but sturdy and quite comfortable for one or two. The stand is solid but easy to assemble and disassemble. I took both the hammock and stand with me on a long road trip through the US and it was the easiest thing to set it up wherever we stopped. I've gotten lots of compliments from friends and family that have tried it out as well. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I lie in this when my back and neck pain start and the pain is gone within about 10 minutes.

The stand is a good size not too small and not too long and the hammock is well made and very comfortable.

Im in Love!

My hammock arrived then it rained for a week.On the first sunny day we put it together very easily. Bliss. When I was young and sick with a summer coldmy grandmother put me in her hammock and rocked me to sleep every day for a week. I wanted to relive that memory though not the cold and now my wish has been fulfilled. Love the colours and the quality. The quintessential Canadian pastime - lounging in a hammock.

I call it my cocoon as the double size allows the material to fold right over you and you can block sun bugs and enjoy a VERY lovely peaceful sleep.

Easily assembled the stand by myself in about 15 minutes. The only part I had to fiddle with was the height of the hooks but that wasn't even really an issue. Have been relaxing daily in this hammock on my balcony. The best purchase I've made for this summer by far Excellent customer service. I'd purchase from Hammock Universe again.

The whole process of dealing with Hammock Universe has been very positive. My questions were quickly answered shipping was free and superfast hammock price was great value and although we've only had it week the hammock seems excellent so far. No complaints I have to add that I was a little concerned to be ordering from a company I'd never heard of so I am so pleased it turned out so well

My new hammock was very easy to assemble and fall into the hard part is forcing yourself to get out It's extremely comfortable for one or two and is now my favourite place in the backyard. I recommend buying the cover to keep it dry. I'm impressed and very pleased.

Totally worth it!

I love my new hammock I've only had it for the weekend so far but I've gotten more sleep in these last few days than I have in the last month I used to wake up 5-8 times a night to stretch my back out imagine my surprise when I slept for 7 hours straight without waking up For the first time in almost 10 years my back doesn't hurt I'm never going back to normal beds. The only issue that I had at all was with FedEx delivery but it was definitely worth the wait
