Assembly

This hammock is great - like being wrapped up in a blanket when its cooler outside. Also if you prefer to avoid getting more sun than necessary you can shift around in the hammock and use the material to block the sun. A visiting friend and I sat in it together for hours while we chatted and caught up with life. Received the hammock just 2 days after ordering then had it out in use within 10

I am a college student who needed furniture that was easy to move and comfortable. This [...] only took a few minutes to set up. I've been sleeping on this hammock every night and get an even better night's sleep than I did with a traditional mattress. I haven't had it very long so we'll see if something changes. But for now I love it

Makes a great bed!

Set up in my basement in 10 minutes but now can be up and down in under 5 minutes. Only had it outside once so far due to the weather Toronto but leave it up in my basement for now. I regularly make a 20 minute pit stop for a nap when I walk by. Great price great product and great service.

This stand was super quick and easy to assemble. The quality of the material far out weighs the competitors. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Distance learning is fun outside!

Always wanted a hammock... This one is nice. Frame a little loose until you get in the hammock. I guess this must be normal. Bought a cover to protect from rain but not worth it since you can easily unhook the hammock and bring inside when done. I won't use the cover for sure so don't recommend you buy it.

Nice

I received the hammock and stand 2 days after I placed my order. There were a couple of issues but Simon was quick to respond to my concerns and within 2 days I was enjoying my hammock. The set-up was easy and the double hammock is the perfect size. I look forward to coming home from work and taking a short nap everyday. Friends and family all love it as well. I cannot stress enough on Hamm

One of the best purchases I've ever made

The whole shopping and buying experience at Hammock Universe was the best I've ever had with online shopping. The communication from Hammock Universe was super nice full of humor and very caring. I wish I had a need for more hammocks just to keep receiving their wonderful letters I bought my hammock with a stand. Instructions were clear and the whole assembly was super easy. No parts were missing. The hammock is super comfortable looks great and durable. Love the whole experience and can highly recommend this nice company

Best buying experience ever!

Very happy with my purchase. Delivery was fast with updates all the way. Set up is simple the hammock is very comfortable and well made. A great way to enjoy the backyard relaxing & napping. A real pleasure to deal with a company that does what it says it will and also makes the process fun & entertaining a great example of how things sgould work.

I purchased the Brazilian hammock as a gift for my husband. The description says "Hammock big enough for two" up to 450 lbs. It is actually called "BRAZILIAN DOUBLE HAMMOCK". Out combined weights are 295 lbs and with the two of us in it at the highest setting we are dragging on the ground. Also it is terribly uncomfortable for two people anyway you cannot lay side by side and read you just roll to the centre. There are multiple settings drilled holes in the stand but the hammock is only long enough to reach two of those setting so there is no adjusting it to make it hang higher. I tried to return it and was told to try it the different settings then contact them again if I wasn't happy. When I still wanted to return they said basically too bad you tried it out because once it's been assembled you can no longer return it When I again contacted customer service I received a very rude response that said "hammocks are not designed for use by more than one person at a time"  Why advertise is as a DOUBLE hammock then???? The customer service rep also said "it wouldn't matter if the hammock was one kilometer wide you would both still roll into the middle because of gravity" What? Firstly how rude secondly what nonsense When I wrote back twice to complain to a manager I never received another response. This company and its "feel good" advertising is a shameful
