the grandbaby enjoys playing.  she age appropriate,  but just barely,  so she still trying to figure ways to use.  this is allows development growth which is wonderful to watch.   the handle on the magnetic shape could be longer, she does have some difficulties getting then out.  a little older child likely won't encounter the issue.   plus, she can just lay on the table to use until she is though  playing.   which we normally do anyhow...based on her daddy's time with a similar model did that age.

My almost 2 year old loves to scribble and erase on this drawing pad. I removed the magnets though, not quite old enough for those. Just like one I remember having as a kid. I can see him playing with this well into the next few years and will probably have to buy a second (or third).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MagmaDoodle is a clean and easy way to let your child draw without you having to worry about them making marks on household surfaces.

MagnaDoodle is a favorite.

I bought this for my 3 year old son for Christmas. He really likes it. It seems pretty durable. I like that the pen is attached so it doesn't get lost or used for other things. There are three magnet shapes that also come with it, and they sometimes fall out of their spots, which can be annoying. Overall, i feel it was a good purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had both this and the original blue version.  This green one holds up longer and seems more robust %26 well built.  Lasts about 1.5-2 years in our house, the "eraser" eventually wears out and is hard to slide.  Only negative is the smaller shape parts don't stay in the board very well, could stand to be stronger magnets.  Still better than your kid staring at a tablet or TV!

The better of the Magna Doodle versions

My daughter really liked it for the first couple of days.. Now she doesn't care. My complaint is that it's cheap quality. Flimsy plastic and the back is all open. Why couldn't they just put a smooth/flat back on it. Maybe worth $5.

I bought this for my 3 year old . I wasn't happy with the difficulty he had erasing his drawings. The mechanism was very difficult to slide. Also I found the whole item to be very flimsy. My son did like it though just wish I could make a couple changes

Cheaply made, doesn't erase very good, and one of the magnets broke after 1 day.  My kids are older 10 and 8 years and they used it only for spelling word practice.  They were nice to it as well.  What can you expect for 12 bucks,ni guess!
