Works really well. Fairly quiet, surprisingly didn't scare my cat who needed trimming.

Great little clipper

This little trimmer is just the right size, I use it on my Yorkshire Terriers and it is a compact size and fits right in your hand. Easy to use and the sound from it is not loud so not upsetting to the dogs. I would recommend this item.

Wahl Touch Up Trimmer

Small pet trimmer is great for small dogs.

Pet trimmer

Don't cut it

Run once, I disassembled the central mechanism following the instructions of a video on the web, and tested with the battery that came with the purchase and the mower went back to working. As soon as it closes, it won't start again. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Wrong purchase this Deluxe Pcket Pro trimmer

I have bought two of these now. Both have failed. I thought the first one might have been a fluke but the second one has also failed. The only thing I use it for is to shave the fur in my dogs lip fold. When it worked it was great. I am on a limited fixed income and am getting tired of throwing my money away.

Disappointed

Not a good value

These die within a couple of uses no matter how well you take care of them. I believe it might be the power switch. Not worth anything. I thought I might have a dud so i bought again, t but it died quickly again. Seems to be very poorly built.

Dies quickly

I purchased one of these a year and a half ago, and it stopped working after 7 months. For the price, I was okay with, even though I'd probably only used it a handful of times. I purchased a second one about 3 weeks ago. Used it ince, it was great. Tried to use it this morning, and again, it just won't work. Even changing the battery did nothing. I'll be returning this one and getting my money back. It's junk.

Junk

I am a disabled person on a fixed income, pension, so buying anything outside the ordinary must be planned for. I have a ragdoll/Persian cross cat who has snowshoes for paws. IYKYK. I needed something to trim around her paw pads, as I am afraid to cut her with the scissors I use for everything else. I happened upon these at my local Walmart, and they seemed perfect for that small job, and I bought them in September of 2024. I used them once and they were fine. I cleaned the fur out of the blade, reassembled, oiled, and all was well. I used them a second time with limited success. They did eventually cut the fur, but it seemed to be grabbing the fur. No cat likes that, and my girl wasn't having it. I took the balde apart cleaned, oiled (thinking this might be the issue), reassembled and tried again. The minute any pressure was put on the blade the clipper would quit, and the blades seized. I would have to loosen the screws that hold the blades in place. I thought perhaps it was the battery, so I replaced with a new one, but the same thing the clippers quit and the blades seized. It was getting late, and I didn't want to disturb my roommate, so I cleaned it, oiled, and put it away. I took it out the next day to try to figure out what is wrong, and as long as I didn't attach the blades, it would run, but the minute I reattach the blades, they seized and the motor stops. I have had many pets over the years, and have used Wahl clippers sets exclusively, up to and including full body shaves on both cats and dogs. I have never had any issues with the motors or blades seizing with those previous clippers. I'm not sure what the issue is, but they are worthless to me, and while $9.97 doesn't seem that big of a deal to most, when on a fixed income, it is definitely a big deal. My local Walmart wouldn't take them back, and said to contact the company, who have not responded to messages so far. So, I say, save yourself some time, money and aggravation, and buy something bigger/more powerful, as IMO these are a waste of money. I would give no stars if that were allowed, but one star it will have to be.

Do Not Buy!
