I already ordered 2 of them....I have a partial and I lost a anchor tooth...Well this product repaired my issue with ease...seriously IF you have a missing tooth or a cap that broke this is the product for you OR a tooth with a hole in it..this will fill in that hole and stop any pain or food getting lodged in...Easy to use...price is just right..can hold you over til you go to the dentist OR just keep using it to fix your problem...

broke a tooth. couldn't get to dentist it was weekend and holiday so no one was open just my luck. I found this and used it in a pinch. it worked great. cleaned the tooth applied this it kept food out and tooth cleaned until I could get to dentist was easy to use. no strange taste after it was dried and applied. did not break off when eating and drink. held on great. dentist removed it with ease and was able to fi tooth

This won't work on just any tooth but if you feel like you can pack the tooth and something will stay than this will work. it works great for me. only have to replace every 5 weeks or so. Be sure to clean and sanitize (rinse with the Listerine or the like) inside the tooth your packing. do the same with their hands. the best three dollar fix you're going to get. I get a few uses out of one little container. This is a GREAT item!!

I don't think words can explain just how amazing this product is for me...

I'm kind of poor, so I don't have dental insurance, and even though I've tried to take very good care of my teeth my whole life, I still ended up chipping one of my wisdom teeth. and it's at a weird angle, it's not on the top, it's from the side that the chip is at. 

really long story short, after a lot of pain and discomfort and it cutting my cheek a little bit and feeling weird on my tongue, I cleaned it out really well inside the hole, best that I could, and then put this product inside the hole and try to matt it down and fight with my teeth so it forms properly. 

it lasted at least three or four weeks, the pain went away, the discomfort, The cutting of my cheek, the discomfort on my tongue, everything! 

did start to wear away a little bit, and eventually I got one of those metal picks and cleaned it out the rest of the way so that I could replace it again. 

I don't know if or went I'll be able to get to a dentist to have work done, but it is definitely worth buying, I would venture to say that it can probably be used long-term if needs be. as long as the hole is clean, this product could be used multiple times without any type of infection or anything spreading...

obviously though, if you have infection, that needs to be taken care of. but since I didn't, I think this prevented any from happening!

I have purchased/used this Dentek temp in the past from other sellers on competitor Website(most recent had issues), this new batch from Walmart is easier to apply,no bitter taste or burning.Tip for other purchasers: Make sure the filling material has a putty texture to it,if not return it or discard.

Roll a ball up between your thumb and fingertip and soften it up till it's more pliable and place it into the area you wish to fill after your shirt. It's thoroughly cleansed. I used hydrogen peroxide after cleaning mine and before applying the project. Press in and remove access but don't keep pressing or you'll press it all out. Product hardens fairly quickly.

Great for temporarily replacing a lost filling.

This product works very well for individuals who experience a lost crown and or eroded/lost of a filling. If you start experiencing severe pain - I do recommend this product to see if it may work work as an emergency deterrent of pain until a person can get to a dentist.  If a person ignores the detached crown/ or eroded filing because they are not experiencing pain - it is not a good idea to think this product should work once severe pain and throbbing starts happening. This is not an anti-biotic. Seek dental treatment from a dentist as quickly as possible.  I give this product a five star review. The price is usually covered under/otc/ fsa healthcare coverage. The regular price w/o OTC/fsa coverage is still a value.

Five Star Review

Works great in a dental emergency.  I am a retired dental assistant and this just saved me!!  My front veneer fell off and I was able to place it on until a dental visit.  The only reason for not giving 5 star rating is the fact that the paste being white made my veneer even whiter looking.  I would love this in a duller white.  Still, a wonderful product.

Great emergency product

It breaks up grainy in your mouth doesn't harden like you need to or stick so when you least expected, it's off the tooth rolling around your mouth again it needs to be a little bit stiffer consistency. I needed it to cover a pointy broken piece of tooth, causing extreme soreness this just didn't help.

I had a filling fall out of a molar that I need a root canal on, and I needed something to fill in the gap until my appointment with the endodontist. I used Dentek years ago and it worked perfectly and stayed in place for weeks, so I had high hopes for this stuff. Unfortunately, the texture is odd, and it disintegrates in your mouth before it has the chance to harden. Once you finally get some to harden in place, it only lasts for a day, tops. I guess it does its job, but I feel like the product quality used to be much better.

Barely Works

It tells you to take a small scoop of the product and roll it around and squish it into the crown and put it on and bite down to adhere it.. but my tooth was way too high- my bite was off- and it made my other teeth hurt, and it fell out when I was eating- even though I was eating on the other side of my mouth. Didn't seem worth the trouble. The Dentist's office recommended drying the tooth underneath and using a dab of toothpaste to hold it in place... I think that would have been better than this product.

Not a great solution, temporary or otherwise.
