I wouldn't call these beautiful or fancy but perfect for every day use for the family.  They are thick and can withstand hot pots, casseroles or whatever.  Very convenient!  I love them.

They look nice, and they were a nice size! However, they arrived with a slight odor, so I washed them in cold water, and let them air dry. They shrunk a great deal, and one of the edges frayed pretty badly.

Nice placemats, but they shrink.

These placemats smell horrible.... I knew i was in for it when could smell the heavy musty basement smell (thats putting it mildly) through the packaging. I held my breath and opened them and quickly threw them in the wash with 2 extra rinse cycles..and it didnt help. Even after washing and air drying you can smell the odor on all 3 floors of our home... im beyond disappointed...they are now in my trash...which smells better than these frikkin placemats!

My sense of smell has been violated
