My first thought was "crunchy?. . . what are we. . . in the 80's?" but the crunch doesn't hang around long enough to ruin your life. . . . it serves to control your curls as they are forming, and once my hair was dry I applied a bit of finishing oil and Voila!. Will I get this again? Definitely. Some curls need a little taming!

I had really curly/coily hair and after an illness and menopause my curls were gone and my hair became barley wavy. After trying this balm my curls started coming back. I apply a leave-in conditioner and a couple pumps of the curl balm throughout my wet hair. I brush with a denman style brush to distribute evenly and then diffuse. My curls are bouncy, shiny, healthy, and soft, but the hold lasts for several days. I've tried at least 50 different curl creams in my life, and this is truly a holy grail product for me.

I've always had wavy hair that curled only if I really gelled it up, so I was excited to try this. Sure enough, I used it in the shower and the cream melted into my hair. No kidding! It feels like a hair mask that helps with bounce. Now I don't have to use as much gel as before and my hair smells so good right out of the shower. For my wavy hair girlies, this is for us! I will definitely purchase this again and make it part of my routine.

I love what it did to shape my curl, but I did not care for the cast it left behind.  Even when I scrunched it to break the cast, it still left my hair feeling kind of heavy

Good to use in a pinch, but not everyday

Does not smell like the old formula nor does it smooth the way it used to. My hair has shown more frizz after use, instead of smoothing the way the old formula did. I wish they would return to the old formula! Change the packaging NOT the product! So disappointed. When i originally found the other formula, my curls were bouncy and soft, now not so much.

Not at all like it used to be.
