The figure is beautiful and it is a wonderful tabletop addition to my home meditation area.  Thank you.I would recommend this figure to anyone setting up a meditation area.  She is beautiful and well made.  I love her!

Calming beauty of a Buddha Maiden

This Guan Yin Godess statue is very beautiful. The subtle hues of pale green & gold paint wash adds to its sweetness and lovely detail. I actually ordered another one for a special gift. I have other versions of Guan Yin acquired over years. This one, however, is my favorite. I am delighted with this Toscano Design purchase!

This little statue is elegant and simply beautiful! It far exceeded my expectations. She is at the center of my little altar and I love her. Not only is she gorgeous but she was very well packaged and shipping time was quite speedy.

Amazing!

We decorate in the Oriental style and have a number of Quan Yin figures.
Like the delicate coloring of this particular one from Toscano, the hint of gold-tone.
She looks calm and serene and I find myself looking at her a few times a day,
reminding myself of her meaning.

Quan Yin is a favorite

I'm thrilled with my purchase. It arrived in perfect condition in a very timely manner. I have wanted a sculpture of Guan Yin for many years and was delighted to find it at Design Toscano. The scale is perfect to tuck among the plantings in my woodland garden. I couldn't be happier. Even the cat loves it.

Fabulous

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and have appreciated having her in my bedroom until I complete the back yard landscaping. As some have already noted in their reviews, the colors are not as clear and bright as I had hoped, nor as precisely painted as I would do, so I'm likely to touch her up a bit myself. She is also lighter than anticipated. That said, I love her sense of tranquility and will enjoy having her in my garden ~ and then back in the bedroom for the winter months!

Serene and lovely

Very pretty. Nice size for a small garden nook or shrine. Good coloring, but how well it will eventually weather remains to be seen. My only quibble is with its weight. Light enough for a strong wind or raccoon to knock over, although hasn't happened yet.
I have DT gargoyle purchased many years ago made of some sort of cement composition...it's fairly heavy and still looks good.

Guan Yin statue

Overall, this is a fine indoor statue for the price; the color and size is just fine. I was surprised that it was hollow, however; I expected a solid resin figure, not a hollow one.

Fine statue

This purchase was a disappointment. The paint on the front side of the statue is blotchy and sloppily applied - and the colors unnatural looking. It would have looked better without the paint. The gold leaf was also sloppily applied - with the gold paper still hanging off in several areas. It also looks like several human hairs got stuck to the paint or lacquer that is on top of the gold leaf. I didn't even use it for the Compassion course I was teaching. It is now sitting in the back of my closet.
