Graceful and beautiful sitting fairy playing the flute, statue by Toscano lives up to their artistry. She definitely needs somewhat of a flat surface with a bit of support or, be able to sit on a completely flat surface. I nestled her into the rocks of my garden and she just looks like she belongs there.

Beautiful Detail

walmart.com

She is lovely, just as depicted. I did find it useful to add a touch of make-up by using a couple of Sharpies because of the colors already present but lacking in her face.
A few days after I got her, I discovered her flute broken but not broken off, the lower part bent upward but still attached because a thick wire runs through it. I'm assuming that one of my gardeners might have hit her. I was able to bend it back down straight again, but it would've been easier without the wire because I could've simply super glued it back on.
I actually debated whether or not to buy her at all because her skirt was short. I'm very picky about my faeries, and it's crucial that they be dressed modestly. All of my other faeries wear long gowns.

Sweet and Delicate

Design Toscano

I've been trying to find a sitting fairy for a small bench in my garden. I finally found the Fairy of the West Wind Sitting Statue which I thought would be perfect. When it arrived, I was so surprised at how well made and beautiful she is that I felt she was too good to go outside. So I purchased a stand for my house for her to sit on!! So now I'm still looking for a sitting fairy for my garden.

Beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i put her on the outside wall where I have many flower pots sitting in the sun. . She looks great and is weighted enough to sit on her own. She looks just like the photos and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

she looks great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been debating on buying this for quite some time and I'm glad I finally did. She is as lovely as I thought she would be! Thank you design Toscana for offering so much of what I like - and at a reasonable price and equal or better quality.

Perfect

While ordering The Rhiannon Fairy Archer my younger daughter asked me what else I liked on Toscano's sight. Fairy of the West Wind...which surprisingly came gifted to my door from my daughter. This fairy was creatively designed with wings & body in placement as if the wind is blowing. Her shoes are perfect wraps of leaves & encircling her upper arms are tendrils as if jewelry. A wreath of feathers adorn her head; her dress & wings are graceful leaves. The two-tone colours are soft & pleasant.

Unique, Creative design

She's beautiful and just what I was looking for to Grace my garden. I got her in memory of my sister, a flute player, who recently passed. Note she does not come with the stand that is pictured. I sat mine on a upturned pot...Her face has an exquisite expression .

So much expression!

This statue is gorgeous. I had one several years ago & she was broken by a neighbor. He replaced her but over the years my grandsons broke pieces of her. Unable to glue her anymore I just had to have another one. She is so graceful & adds beauty to my garden. Her coloring is so soft. I definitely recommend her to everyone.

Lovely garden addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the quality and workmanship of this fairy. The attention to detail is remarkable. She turned my broken birdbath into a piece of art. It was packaged securely and delivered promptly.

Unique and beautiful

This statue is appealing; it matches its photo. The coloring adds depth to its beauty. The wings are removable and that was part of the initial attraction for me. However, the statue does not rest evenly on its base. I tried it first without the wings (my preference) because I like the musical element, being a musician. On the small pedestal I used, the "fairy" tipped over immediately. I put the wings in their slots, hoping this would improve the situation, but it was still tip-prone. Even a slight touch will topple it, potentially causing damage. You have to situate it "just so" in order to avoid it falling from its perch. If it will be on something permanent, it could easily be glued down or a hole drilled to screw it down. I like the statue, but this is an unfortunate aspect of it that needs to be dealt with, not ignored.

Nice looking but unstable
