[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my reservations when I read that this was made out of resin, but when it arrived the work and detail were so fine, I was very impressed. I love the gesture of this owl. It's very natural unlike many that look either whimsical or evil.

Well made

Just love this Owl. It is extremely detailed and 3D realistic. Very impressed. Since it is so realistic I decided to hang it on my fence above my raised vegetable garden. I think it might just scare away some hungry animals or at least make them think twice. I spend a lot of time out there any love looking at it. Great buy and great price. Delivered quickly and securely packed.

Amazingly realistic

I have a room that I simply call my bird room and this owl is a really nice addition.  I painted on canvas a white owl for this room a while back, and when I saw this wall sculpture, I just had to have it.   I am very pleased with the quality.  I only wish it was a little larger.

Rather Accurate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still don't know what I will do with him, but I just had to have it when I saw it.  It is very beautiful and just called to me.  I will probably hang him up in my computer room.  Right now it is decorated mostly with crows.

Very Impressive

I bought this for my husbands birthday & he was so pleased, which in turn pleased me. This little fellow is beautiful, we have seen many owls over the years yet the overall design was missing something. This has everything a real owl should have. Its also heavy so will thick carefully before placing it. Bought one for my in-laws which is what made me decide on one for my husband because they loved theirs also.

Happy Hubbby

We have had interaction with a snow owl in our home on the beach on the tip of Long Island, N.Y.  We imagine it is on its way back to the Arctic after have migrated south for the winter.  It is a gorgeous creature, shockingly white with beautiful feather and wing span and deep eyes. We have seen it on many occasions on our roof and one of my sons has taken a "spiritual adoption" of the bird, so it was such a treat for him to receive this sculpture as a gift.  He treasures it.  The actual bird has now flown north, as I mentioned, but we have her memory and hopefully will see her again on her winter retreat back to the more easterly states.

More Ethereal than expected. Truly mystical.

This owl will sit above a small window in the loft at our cottage.Made one alteration...I removed the vertical black lines on the wings as they tend to look like fingers of a human hand and painted  in Horizontal lines (dark grey) to the feather quills..vastly improved the realism of the wing spread to such a detailed sculpture.

Just what I wanted

It came as described, so I can't complain, but it would be a much better piece if it were closer to life size.  I would have happily paid more for a larger one.  It looks odd hanging on the wall.  I have another owl that is life sized and I have to keep the two separated.

Wish it was larger

This is a lovely sculpture of an owl.  I sent it back because I wanted a full size
version.  This is very small but would be great for a child`s room.  Just not for me.  If a small version of a snowy owl is what you are looking for I recommend this.  If an authentic owl size is what you want do not buy this one.

lovely but

Needed to finish and repair, very poor paint job. I learned that this is a common problem for Design Toscano. But there are many disappointed customers that are willing to help you with info on painting it your self, as DT help may or may not be there!!
