[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice, intricate design. Solid enough to put outside. Not very tall, if that is what you are expecting, but it works for us. We also bought the dinosaur skeleton  from Design Toscano to go with it, for our dog's area of the backyard.

Our 11 year old male beagle has taken to going P in the house. As a boy, he prefers something he can lift his leg on and fortunately prefers things on the floor rather than the carpet. He was using a wooden chair leg. I thought maybe a familiar outside item would work. I found this fire hydrant online and thought it would be perfect. I took only a few days and he got the idea to P on the fire hydrant which is placed on top of a potty pad. I simply run it under the water (soap when necessary) and let it dry and back down it goes. Saves my furniture and its the perfect size. I realize this is supposed to be an outside type item but looks cute in the house too. Design Toscano has the lowest price on this item and it ships quick.

I have three dogs; one male.  I put this where they like to piddle.  It looks great in my garden.  I sprayed a clear sealant over it so it lasts.

Love this in my ground cover

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is so cute and fits in my yard perfectly. The hydrant is heavy enough that our strong winter winds don't push it over.

I purchased this hydrant for my dog who uses piddlepads. I thought it would be good for his aim. He seems to like it and does target it as though he was outside. It works great for us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great quality just really small. Would be perfect for a toy size dog . The quality is nice, just wished it was bigger like and actual size of a fire hydrant. Would've paid for that size with ease. Hope this helps

Cute

This thing is a joke! It is so small, even if I was to use it just for a lawn deco. I wanted to use it for both, a fun lawn deco and my medium size dog to lift his leg to...Cute thought, but size should be more realistic. Should have known the price was too good for it to be big enough.Lesson learned again...free or too cheap not worth it. sigh!
