I don't know if the artist was aware of this data point; but, this should not be called "Arthurian", rather, that is a genuine Piast-era Polish eagle sculped on the shield. According to the legend, the dragon that lives under Wawel Castle in Krakow Poland is named "Smok". Hence, this piece should be titled; "Smok, the dragon that allegedly lives under Poland's Wawel Castle" Marketed as such, watch your Polish customers begin to purchase it.

Very detailed and fierce-looking! It's a little darker in color than I had hoped for, may have to find a way to shine a light on it so everyone can see it in the corner display.

This is an absolutely beautiful statue. The detail is amazing on both the dragon and the shield. It is darker than the photo but to me that makes it look even better. It is a great addition to my collection.
