Low sodium, mixes easily, is unflavored by the horrid sweeteners added to so many protein drinks. It does have a teeny bit of taste, but nothing that makes you want to spit it out. One of the best finds and I'll keep using it to make healthy protein smoothies.

This is a good protein. It mixes well and has good consistancy. It doesnt clump up. All the flavors I have tried have been decent. It seems that there is no real strong flavors. The taste is fairly mild. So whether its strawberry, chocolate or vanilla you dont get overpowered by the taste. It also gives me the energy that a good protein should. I use it before and after workouts as well as the morning.

Designer Whey Protein is almost tasteless and mixes instantly with the other liquids very easily without having to use the blender. Since
artificial sweeteners are not to my liking this Whey Protein is a perfect choice for me because it takes on the taste of my fruit or juice or milk used on any given day. It was great to learn one serving is only 100 calories and contains all the enzymes and other nutrients I used to get in a product purchased from a pharmaceutical company. Took me some time to find an equal product at an affordable price and this is it. It is also great to add to homemade granola while mixing it before baking since it leaves no tastes and boosts the protein. Thanks

Excellent Whey

I really like this powder. It mixes well and taste great, it has none of the artificial sweeteners that make other powders hard to stomach. I can have several scoops of this daily and not have any intestinal distress.

Thank you for offering an Unflavored product as I prefer to avoid non-sugar type sweeteners. Wish more stores would carry it but I guess it's not that popular with most consumers who are used to everything being sweet, so have to order online. I prefer to add fruit for taste so I can change up.

Love this whey. It was doctor recommended when I had ankle surgery 5 yrs ago to help get enough protein to promote healing, and I've never stopped using it. 
Why unflavored? I use it in smoothies and cereal and it doesn't affect the natural taste of what I'm eating.

Best around

I had been looking for a good unflavored, unsweetened whey protein isolate powder and I searched a long time until I found Designer. I was a little worried at first because when I opened it I found it to have an unpleasant smell. But in whatever I've tried it in, mostly fruit smoothies, there has been no smell or taste at all, so I have been very satisfied.

Happy with this product

Now, first of all, I thought I had ordered "vanilla" but, to my amazement, this product is "plain and simple" meaning no taste which means bad taste. I mixed it with a really good dark chocolate cacao, a little peanut butter, stevia and almond-coconut milk... awful! I could taste the powder through all of the other tastes. The ingredients are great and should give good results ... if you can get it down. I'm thinking that if you get vanilla or chocolate or strawberry it might not be too bad, but don't, and I repeat DON'T get the "plain and simple"!!

Cannot hide bad taste

It's a great value, but beware you get what you pay for. This product tastes awful, like cardboard, and smells like expired tortilla. I tried taking with honey, sugar, maple syrup, and didn't do the trick. 
The powder is impossible to dissolve, I would be mixing for 5 minutes and there are still clumps, and I had to strain the liquid out, just more work and more mess.
After using just a small portion I gave up and threw the rest away. I just wished they still carried "Jarrow's Grass Fed All Natural Protein" it dissolved quick and tasted great and also is 0 sugar.
I almost never leave negative reviews but hey I gotta tell my side of the story.
