I can't say enough amazing things about the gel. It tames my natural curls without weighing them down, making them crunchy, or changing their shape. I will never use anything else on my hair. Ever.

Curly girl's dream come true!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this line for years! I get lots of compliments on my hair, and I love it, too!

Not my first purchase

For the first time in a long time, my hair finally held a curl from my hot rollers. I live in the Midwest, the humidity level is 65% today and yet, curls and my hair appears thick and soft.
It's a winner!

Works Amazingly well, even with Humidity

walmart.com

Can't believe I waited so long to try this! I've been struggling with my curls for a while and just started straightening my hair everyday because I didn't know what else to do. Not anymore!

Yes, yes, and yes!

I can't believe I am just finding these products. I just threw all my past hair products away. My hair looks like it suppose to look for natural hair and it was easier to do. I didn't have to stay under a dryer to get moisture in my hair.

I like it! Very good hold and doesn't make my hair greasy. There is a cast so you will have to scrunch out the crunch. I use it with a curl cream and it defines my curls well.

Great product!

arrived with product spilling out. shipping package was not damaged. likely due to to loosening of cap during shipping. sellers should add tape to cover to prevent spillage during shipping. most sellers do that.

wasted product due to shipper error

I have been using Devacurl Ultra Defining hair gel for years. The product I received is a watered down version of what I am used to. I don't know if the manufacturer changed its formula or the distributor altered the product, but it is not what was expected. The bottle from the picture online and the bottle delivered are different, but are labeled as the same product name. The return address was from a beauty supply store in California. Not sure what is going on with this product.

Not the same as received in the past

Weird smell and watery consistency. I still had some left from my previous DevaCurl direct order and it was not like that product at all. I felt weird putting it on my hair as I'm not sure what it is if it's not the product advertised.

Weird smell, watery consistency - is this legit?

I think this is a knockoff item. It is watery and does not work. I have been using this product for 7 years and I usually buy from ULTA. I thought I would give Walmart.com a try because it was half the price. I should have known better.

This is NOT the REAL deal-AVOID
