Very sleek design and love that it’s stainless steel. I will say sometimes it’s a tad hard to push the diapers down and put the new bag on but that’s the only con. But the fact that you do not smell anything from this makes up for it! Do not skimp and buy the smaller version, but the regular size and thank me later.

I absolutely love the Diaper Genie Platinum! As a new parent, managing diaper odor was something I was really worried about, but this product has made it so easy. The design looks sleek and modern, and it fits perfectly in our nursery without taking up too much space.

The odor control is amazing—once the diaper goes in, you can’t smell anything at all. The soft-closing lid is also a great feature because it keeps things quiet, especially during nighttime diaper changes when the baby is sleeping.

Diaper Genie

I got this at my baby shower 3 years ago and I still use it!! I had my second baby and it holds so many diapers. I seriously don’t know what I would do without it! I keep it in my bedroom since baby sleep is a bassinet next to me and it is so convenient

Worth it

It’s so useful! I almost didn’t get it as I was wondering if I’d even use it but it’s perfect being right next to the changing table AND you don’t have to worry about smelly diapers stinking up the house!

I just opened up my Diaper Genie Platinum. I was not happy that the button to push to lift the rim is stiff and needs a lot of pressure to snap into place. It seems like it doesn’t click back into the lid that smoothly. I was not impressed with the build quality.

Bought the genie platinum to hopefully help with the odor. Even after just taking it out of the box and only having two diapers in the pail you can still smell them. Love the fact that I don’t have to keep the bags separate like the last pale I had using regular trash bags.

Genie platinum just ok

I’ve been using this diaper pail for several months. I cannot begin to tell you how horrible changing the bags are. They are designed to not be overfilled, people who enjoy this product change the bag every day or every other day. My husband and I, having two spaces to change our baby in, do not empty it everyday. Once there’s more than a handful of diapers, the bag expands at the bottom. The design of the lid does not allow you to pull the full bag through the top. Like I guess I should be peering in every day to ensure there’s only a few in there?? We’re very confused by how positive the ratings are and then I realized all these positive reviews were by people who were offered a free product. 

Why would you seal the lid at the top?? We’d be able to get the bag out if you did not, but then you could use other non-proprietary bags.
