it took a second for me to figure out how to load the bags and set it up for use, but it' actually very easy, convenient, and keeps the diaper smell out of the room.

I rated the overall satisfaction as high because it was the item that was requested on the registry.  I rated the price as good because it is what I would expect to pay for this item.  I rated the quality as high because I don't want to give a low rating to an item that I have not personally used, though I do own an older diaper genie myself and it is a great product.

Just buy it already

I’ve been using the Diaper Genie Signature Pail for a while now, and overall I’m really happy with it. It does a great job at containing odors, which is honestly the most important thing for me — even with frequent diaper changes, the room stays fresh.

The design is sleek and doesn’t look bulky, so it fits nicely in the nursery. I also like the hands-free foot pedal, which makes it super convenient when you’re already juggling a baby. The refill system is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it.

The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the refills can be a bit expensive over time, and sometimes the lid doesn’t close as smoothly as I’d like. Also, when it gets really full, you can notice a slight smell while opening it.

Overall, it’s a reliable and practical diaper pail that makes daily life a lot easier — definitely worth considering for new parents.

Reliable and Odor-Controlling Diaper Pail

The trash works very well. However, there were no bags inside as mentioned on the box.

Diaper genie works great but the one I got has a big black scuff mark on top that won’t come off

Product is good but damaged

I was disappointed because the disposable bags that the box claimed to be included were not included. 
I went back after I found them missing and reported it to the store who recommended I contact the Walmart head office store. Which I did but never heard back from them. Also I dont know if its normal but I found the full bags very difficult to remove from the genie.

Good product, but you can not find the signature bag refills anywhere. if you do find them, they are at a significantly higher price.
