Great product. Easy to handle and cut when needed.

Bought this edging for a DIY home landscaping project. Looked at various alternatives to aluminum edging but didn't like what I saw, so I bought several boxes of the Dimex product. Installed fairly easily and came with all the spikes needed for each box of 4 sections. Sliding the ends together was occasionally a bit of a minor slowdown when one piece was already in place and another one was being laid in next to it (can be a bit tricky to line up the edges when they're in the ground) but I never had to oil the ends or spent more than a couple of minutes (at the most) trying to get them together.  The finished project looks good and I will definitely consider buying this edging again if I ever take on a similar landscaping job.

Love it

This is a good quality robust product.  Easy to install by digging a small trench and then pinning it in place using the long aluminum nails provided.

The pieces slot together at the ends.  My only negative comment is that the manufacturer seems to make the product on at least two different machines and so there is sometimes a tiny, and I mean very tiny, mismatch in the size of the pieces that can make joining two pieces very tricky.   If this happens to you, be patient, it can be done but you may need to warp the end of one piece a tiny bit to get them to fit together.

Serves its purpose well

I like this product, the instructions were easy to follow. One of the boxes came damaged though, that was a bummer, as I needed all of them and did not have time to exchange .

good product

This edging is exactly what I wanted.   I installed and it looks great!   The only downside is that you have to have a lot of patience to put the pieces together.  Once fitted together, they stayed connected so you can bend them to the shape you need, but the slots into which the ends fit are very exact and leave no room for error.   I will buy again, even knowing that it takes from 2-15 minutes to fit pieces together.

Great edging

This item appeared to be one thing and it was different than expected.  I expected it to be bent at a 90 degree angle to be nailed int the ground,  Instead it is dug into the ground and nailed.  I am not returning , I will make it work.   I would recommend this item with reservations.  Depends on what is being sought as edging and the amount of work required to put it in. Thank you.

Not quite

Each section is supposed to slide into the other with an overlap of 2-4" .  The sections were not machined correctly and many of the pieces did not fit together.  I kept 3 boxes and returned 5.  I was able to make enough fit together for the 50' linear ft I needed for the front of the house.  I returned the rest and am not going to use it for the back.  Do not buy this product unless you buy extra to piece together enough to do your project and return the rest!
