Completely happy with the product, ordering, delivery time, condition of product received - however the one and only issue/problem I have is the brightness of the simulated flames. I previously requested if/can I upside the LED lamp size to achieve and correct this problem. If so, I am willing to purchase that lamp recommendation and install it. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you

I installed ours about a year ago..if you make the hole the correct size you just slide it in. Only problem I had was with radio interference for the remote. I went to the dimplex site and had the fix in seconds. I do wish I could use the heat without the fireplace at times but that's no a big issue as it looks great. Just what I needed for a poorly heated room.

Simple and Easy..works great

I studied fireplace inserts before I bought this one. I even went to a fireplace store in town. They didn't sell electric fireplace inserts, but recommended this one to me. I am putting it in a beautiful antique mantel, in a new build. I did unpack the insert and try it out. I am so excited about this choice. It has a realistic flame, is really nice quality and produces great heat! I couldn't be happier!!

Great products (Dimplex) to recommend to clients when updating fireplaces in their homes. We have one in our home, in our ""chill room"" as we like to call it. It is awesome to sit in front of and enjoy a glass of wine and maybe a little cheese. Life doesn't get much better..

The flame is so realistic, that I subconsciously react to it as if it were real. I grew up in the country and we had an open fire all the time, so there was always an awareness of the flame, and an open fire , so you were always careful.This fire is so realistic, that although I have had the fireplace installed for about 3 months now, I still find myself "" fooled "" by the flame, as it appears so real. My wife and I both love the new fireplace, and recommend it to anyone. Just to add one thing, we didn't buy it for an alternate heat source, so we are not disappointed in the fact that it doesn't heat our large living room, but it may be fine for smaller rooms.

Excellent service when I called and discussed options, pricing, shipping Reviews of product were helpful and accurate We are pleased with the purchase but would have appreciated the option of a trim package since our fireplace opening is a couple inches higher and wider than the unit. Heat output is a marginally less than expected. No complaints.

Looks great. Fully as advertised

We got exactly what we expected and more. We looked at a few youtube videos and decided to take the plunge and we were not disappointed. Really nice looking flame and glow. We didn't expect more heat but it can definitely warm up a small space. Nice contemporary look with the closed glass design. Wife chose the log design over the more contemporary rocks/crystals and I have to say wife is right. The logs do make it look more realistic.

We wanted a unit to look good and give out supplemental heat. This unit looks good; but heat output is not much. The unit we received also was larger that dimensions listed in specifications, causing us to wonder if we got proper unit. If you need heat, there probably are better selections out there.

I have owned electric inserts in the past. Nothing compares to this Dimplex unit. it is absolutely beautiful. the flames and embers are so realistic. The quality is unsurpassed. The only drawback is the unit does not provide much heat. I did not purchase it for the heat, I bought this unit for the ambience and i got everything i expected and then some. LOVE IT.
