I am a Commercial Medical Contractor and we use the Dimplex 30inch unit for every patient waiting room we construct. The patients find it to be warm and inviting while they pass the time waiting for their treatments. I have installed approx 10 units and will continue to use Dimplex.

The fireplace insert was purchased to replace a woodburning fireplace. We find it fits the bill quite well. It provides a relaxing, attractive addition to our former outdated fireplace with doors. Actually it is quite amazing as to its looks and function.

Sleek, clean and realistic

We love this fireplace. We live in Florida so a real fireplace is not feasible. The set up was super easy. We were able to reach customer service with no problem with any questions we had. Everyone thinks it is a real wood burning fireplace when they see it. Highly recommend!

Recommend this fireplace, Very realistic.

The fireplace is beautiful. I have had it installed for a little over two weeks and everyone who sees it thinks it is a real flame and wonder how I am venting the smoke. Even my builder was impressed. I looked at all types of fireplaces for our new addition for over a year and settled on this model of electric fireplace. The price is unbeatable, installation was super easy. The flame looks real. Beyond happy with the purchase.

Excellent Fireplace

We use this insert in the white Sussex fireplace mantel. We enjoy using this unit in all seasons and appreciate the heating feature in the winter months. It has a beautiful log arrangement and realistic flames. The viewing is optimal with the large, 30"" insert. Customer service and shipping time were also notable features of this purchase. Very positive experience.

We normally set our heat pump on 68 and we use the electric fireplace to increase the temperature in our living room when needed. The fireplace insert is realistic. The logs actually glow brighter and then dim a little. Fan is very quiet. Remote is easy to setup and use.

Exactly what I was looking for! Installation was a breeze. Unpack, carry to location, plug in, prop up, insert the front glass, add batteries to the remote and turn on. DONE! (We are pretty savvy carpenters so framing was a easy. If you're hiring the work out, your contractor will be impressed at how easy this one is to install.)

Hands down great fireplace!

Set-up was easy and it turned out to be a perfect fit in the existing fireplace, maybe too tight. Time will tell. My family was amazed at the realistic ""flames and embers."" Heat came on quickly, though it isn't very cold, yet, and the fan is very quiet.

Amazing realism

We are very pleased with the fireplace insert and the service by Electric Fireplaces Canada. This is the 2nd DF3015 insert we've had. It is used mainly as heat when the house furnace is not needed - rainy days , cooler spring and autumn days, and evenings when we just need to take the chill off. It is a lovely looking unit, very cozy and warm. The service from the dealer was excellent - the unit was shipped and delivered exactly as we were advised .

We would not hestate to buy this product again !

The fireplace was extremely simple to assemble and set in place. The flame is very realistic looking and when set to heat it generates a quiet warmth to the room which is very comfortable. The remote control is very easy to use and has great control features. I would definitely recommend this fireplace to friends, in fact one of my friends came over the other night and said he was so impressed that he was going to purchase one shortly. Doug Soper

Great addition to our living room

I had three units short circuit on me over the course of three years. I had it plugged into a dedicated outlet and used a surge protector. Very expensive machine for 6 months of use!
