I LOVE the look of this, the heavy shiny enamel, flames, the ambience --it looks just like the pic, but I have had recurrent issues:  first, the heating part is supplemental at best--really just a bit of warm air--but anyway, it completely stopped working after 4-5 months, so I ordered replacement element which I put in, but after a few weeks it began to make a noise with the heat on (although the heat does now work)  The noise is LOUD enough to interfere with conversation (and I separately purchased a "crackler " sound box to sound like flames but the heater noise drowns it ouT!!)  Anyway, an expensive and nice-looking electric stove, but don't count on it for heat.

The first stove we received was broken, the second had small parts missing, luckily we were able to use parts from one to make the other "whole"  The flame effect and general look of the stove is exactly what I wanted but the quality and construction are very poor. Be very careful when you take it out of the box!

Looks good but poorly made...

stove is very appealing, lovely flame,  good heat.  however.  it should like a jet engine taking off when the heater/blower is engaged.  very loud.  on the fence about buying another one.  I really wanted it to work.

think I got a lemon

The flames stopped flickering after a few hours on the first day of use (bad flicker motor).  Dimplex is sending me a new motor to install.  Otherwise, the stove is beautiful.
