Time to pick up Halloween cobwebs! Lol ! Seriously though this is my second one and my first one lasted for YEARS! ( about 7 to 8 I believe) but totally my fault last one didn't last. I normally never had luck with vacuum cleaners had to buy one every 6 months to a year but this one right here if you actually take care of it, it will last for a long time and well worth the price! I have three dogs and a cat and these pets SHED horribly especially my dogs two cane Corso's and imagine this: an Alaskan Malamute! Now that's a lot of picking up hair and dirt! I don't have stairs but my mobile home has the unusual flooring now ! ( Not proud of it but eventually hoping to find a bigger place!) we have chip board! Thankfully for this vacuum, it helps even with pieces that I don't notice so we don't get a splinter! Phew! Now kids and a soon to be husband… so sooo much things fall on the floor and after I think I have picked it all up before vacuuming, NOPE , thankfully it won't clog and if it does easy to fix, not the vacuums fault, but my own , anyways it's a see through empty ( bag less) container and you can see what it was and completely easy to dump out or reach in and take out anything that you might not have wanted to get up in there. I have a crushing spine and deteriorating discs in my back, so it is very lightweight for a vacuum cleaner! The only bad thing I have to say is I just wish that with as many animals that I have and as much dirt, I have to pick up that the container was much larger, but, it works, so I can't really complain too much about it. The second thing I really wish that the upholstery piece came with that, you know like the one for a couch or chairs stuff like that or heck, even maybe a cat tree, it does not come with it. I believe you have to buy a separate. But that's OK. You get what you get for the money that you spent and for the price of this vacuum cleaner and the years it will last if you take care of it properly, I will continue to buy this one ( if I need to buy one) because I can reach everywhere I need to :above me ,under places,  around things, and it is really easy to carry along if needed to be carried! If you are a senior citizen, this vacuum is for you. No back pain during or after using. This smaller machine appears to have more power than a full size unit. Pet hair is no longer a problem. I wish this little gem had come into my world sooner.

Purchased a new ENDURA REACH COMPACT UPRIGHT and used it for the first time. Wow! It's Powerful and the crevice reach tool cleaned my cool air returns like a dream! Wanted to know is there a shut off for the brush while you use the reach tool because it keeps brushing away while I use the tool.

This vaccum is my life saver. I just bought this when I needed it the most because I didn't have one and being a new home owner, I have tons of carpet in my house and I have three dogs that she'd everywhere and the vaccum just sucks it up with no worry.

Really great vaccum

We needed a second vacuum for our two story home. after round one with our other vacuum I wanted to see just how clean our carpets were. We have a shedding bunny rabbit, so the fur flies!!! This vacuum is amazing!!!! Got 5 more rabbit balls off the carpet. LOVE DIRT DEVIL!!!

Fantastic Results!!!

This vaccum has been great for me. With a VERY reasonable price it cleans all spaces. From the hardwood floor corners of my kitchen, to the hard to read areas under my furniture. The tools are simple to use and the bagless dirt container is simple to empty. There is nothing like a clean floor and this vacuum does the job!

Simply Amazing Vaccum!

My husband got me this vacuum almost a year ago. And I absolutely loved it! Its light so made it easy to push around and carry it up and down the stairs. The light weight design was also helpful when cleaning the steps and having to move it up each step as I went. Its simple to use so my kids were able to carry it upstairs and use it to vacuum their rooms without the worry of them messing it up somehow or it being too heavy for them to carry up there. It was so easy to empty and clean out too. The dirt it picked up was amazing! It honestly shocked me how much dirt it gets up. I got a new rug from my sister, who vacuumed it before I rolled it up to take it home and when I got home and layed it out i ran the vacuum just to help calm the creases I was amazed at how much dirt it pulled up out of a "CLEAN" rug that was JUST vacuumed with a different vacuum. This vacuum was by far my favorite and worth every penny. (I say was because my kids new puppy decided the cord and hose and other little edges of the vacuum were "chew toys" and destroyed it. I was heartbroken. So now I am back on this site looking to buy a new vacuum and I'm stuck at a standstill of whether I should try out a different model or just buy this same model since I loved it so much. I definitely reccomend to anyone looking for a lightweight powerful little vacuum that definitely gets the job done beyond expectations!

AWESOME VACUUM

For several years I have used the Dirt Devil Quick Lite. I bought the Endura Upright to replace it. After vacuuming some of my carpets, I was surprised to see the amount of carpet fuzz and carpet dust in the filters; this is a great vacuum at a very affordable price. It's light, no bags to buy, easy to push/pull, and a great value.

Great Suction of Dust in Wall-to wall Carpets

I got my dirt devil endura express compact vaccum about a month ago it works great. Seems to suck everything out of the carpet that i didnt even know was there. I love the onboard tools for hard to reach cracks and crevices. I use my vaccum for everything, the couch, chairs, mattress, floors this is an amazing product and i definitely recommend!!!

Releases a lot of dust while vacuuming. Seems like it doesn't have very good seals throughout the vacuum. And I clean my vacuum every time after use. Not impressed. I've only had it for a short time and would like to return it, but the handle doesn't seem to come off. So I can't get it back in the box. Maybe they did that on purpose so you're stuck with it.

Releases a lot of dust

I frankly don't understand these upright vacuums at all. I used to have a dirt devil canister vacuum that went out of order before the two year warranty expired so I got today the Endura as the replacement. The name was chosen aptly - you will endure a lot! First of all, the vacuum is rather loud. Dirt Devil should supply ear protection with this model - I totally mean it. It is probably at the end of the allowed decibels level especially if you are in corridor. I put on sound deadening earmuffs that I use with my lawn mower when vacuuming the floors. Is it that difficult to come up with a less noisy design in the 21st century? Second, we live in a small house with lots of objects that I need to vacuum around. This model just killed my wrist as I had to move the vacuum around a lot. I was rather upset even with the canister model wondering why the Devil's designers/engineers could not come up with some 'rounder' shape so that the vacuum cleaner wouldn't hook on to everything it bumps into but at least the brush was easy to move around. This deafening beast is no comparison as you will have lift and shake those pounds around with one hand. Third, the bloody wire is not only always on the way - I stepped ten times on it, which was rather aggravating, and had to hold it in my hand all the time - it is rather short. It's barely enough for one not so big room. With the previous canister model I could use just two outlets to vacuum the entire floor. With this upright devil, I had to plug it in in every room. Fourth, I will need some time to get used to making it stand upright. You cannot cut corner on this apparently; the over 90-degree angle is a must to click it. Fifth, cleaner doesn't even filtrate the air all that well and left the rooms filled with that smell of whipped fine dust. Unfortunately, the inter-model compatibility was skillfully killed by Dirt Devil. I was hoping that perhaps I could connect the lightweight brush from the canister vacuum but no. The diameters of the pipes were made different. Well done! Naturally, the under-the-object range is limited compared to the brush of a canister vacuum. Sucks as well. While the vacuum should be fine for hair and finer particles on carpets, it didn't pick up well, say, dry leafs or paper clippings that the kids left on wooden floors. So my bottom line is that if you have empty carpeted floors in small rooms and have pets, then go for it. I am going to sell this one on craigslist and look for a canister model.
