it works great my dog had diarrhea and i cleaned up with toilet paper and the stain from it went away after i used the carpet cleaner, only issue i have with it is the button on the hose to release the scrubber is to hard to push for me with arthritis i ended

Removed my kids' "potion" stains from her carpet!

For small jobs %26 spot cleaning it is perfect. Cleaned grandma's vintage fabric recliner bottom where dogs had marked repeatedly (before I realized). Took me quite a few passes (did I mention repeatedly?) before the suctioned water was clear, so I was glad the attachment is clear so I could see it. 

It is now dry %26 beautiful! In the picture, the bottom of the skirt was quite discolored %26 you can see it is not any more. I also cleaned the arms %26 they too are noticeably cleaner. 

I had to refill tank once (2 tankfuls) but it's an easy task. By the way, even though instructions suggested using full strength solution for pet stains, I filled tank for normal cleaning. 

All-in-all, worth the money for the job it did on this chair alone. Thought I'd need to recover it to get the smell %26 stain out. 

The way you spray the solution on yourself with the built in trigger under the attachment allows you to customize the application. And the hose clean out feature is a bonus! 

I am pleased with price, shipping and performance of this product.  However, it states to only use Dirt Devil solution %26 I am wondering if that is absolute, so if anyone has info on that, it would be appreciated.

I needed something to really clean my stairs as spot treating the stairs was not working well enough. I ended up using this on other high traffic areas in my house too because I was so impressed with how much dirt this cleaner collected that I could not see was there. It is very easy to clean too with the internal compartment.

Small but cleans well

Works well. Doesn't take up much space.  We used to have the vacuum kind but this is working better and has less parts to clean or that can break.  Bought on sale.

Good Buy

It's easy to use and clean after use. The compact size allows for easy storage. It did a great job cleaning the interior of my car and where my cat gets sick on the carpet. Loved it so much I eventually bought the full size carpet washer.

Great little cleaner!

Cleaned my mattress and couch very well. The suction of dirty water is very smart and deep saves on dry time, then the different brand I had prior to DirtDevil

Durable fabric and upholstery

Overall, this is a great little machine, but there are better ones out there. It cleans and does its job pretty well. You do have to go over the same spot several times though. Has decent suction power. Easy to operate. Lightweight. Doesn't hold much water so you constantly have to empty the dirty water and fill the cleaning water. The hose isn't very long so you have to keep the machine close. I got it on sale so it was worth it, but I don't think I would pay full price. Affordable.

I love this little machine. It's very light and the hose is quite long. The only thing I would hope for is a place to put the hose attachments so they can connect to the machine when not in use.

Needs one update

i gave this product only 3 stars,due tocthe fact it's extremely small... the canisters only holds about 2 cups of water/solutions...if you're only cleaning a small area its perfect... i bought it to clean entrance rugs that's only 4 1/2 ft by 2 ft... it took me 2 hrs to clean because i was constantly refilling...my advice would be to buy a bigger tank capacity...

No quality

This is ok, not great. I was able to remove an old stain from my couch, but the suction on this is subpar. It left water marks on my couch that are worse than the few stains I was able to remove. I used an entire tank of water/solution and there was maybe 1 1/2 inches of water in the return tank. With 3 kids and 2 dogs I need something better than this. Disappointed.
