I have been using this sweeper for years! I just bought another one just in case they ever stop making them. I this model because the weight is at the bottom. I tried the one with the motor at the top but it was heavier for me and did not swifel as easy as this one. I use with out the roller on hard floors and turn on the roller for carpet. I can due most of the kitchen, family room, dinning room and the living room on one charge. Great for in between deep cleaning. Gets up pet hair great. Recommend ub a heartbeat!

Powerful Tool

Bought mine at the end of December so have had plenty of opportunity to use it. I have one dog and I am amazed at the amount of hair & dirt it picks up. I don't like having to drag out my heavy reg. vacuum cleaner all the time....when I have just one room I want to tackle I gab the DD and it does itself proud.

Love it!

We have a German Shepherd and she sheds even though I brush her. We have mostly hard floor and short-pile carpet. This does great on both. Keeps the dust down as we have not got landscaping in our backyard yet. I was shocked how well it picked up the dog hair. Looked like I had groomed her in the trash can when I went to dump the collection bin. I am 66 and my back is fussy from an old injury, that there is no cord and that the unit is so very light, it is easy for me and no backache when I am done. Great for people who have mobility issues like me or who have their kids help out with vacuuming. I like to keep the house presentable as we have people always dropping by. I do have some trouble getting the collection bin in and out because I also have arthritis in my hands, but I can still manage it. Overall, we are really surprisingly pleased.

Great for dealing with daily dog hair

Came sooner than expected, assembly was simple though a little tedious in getting the wire in the handle to coil and sit proper in it's compartment. Works well, though it needs frequent emptying/ filter cleaning if working with a lot of dust. Otherwise very efficient for a small space.

A decent vacuum for a small space

I'm surprised no one has mentioned how clunky this is to empty. You have to remove the dust covered filter and then remove another dirty piece of plastic before you can empty the bin. Even after the first time using it, my hands were dirty. I needed to vacuum the area where I emptied the vacuum because of all the extra steps and dust. For the price, I would still buy this again but the overall construction and quality is laughable compared to other brand's stick vacuums.

Emptying is a Dirty Headache

This is my 4th PowerSverve.  
Pros: lightweight, good for hardwood floors, cordless. 
Cons: There is a fundamental design flaw that makes it hard to assemble. The handle just doesn't snap.  Also it's hard to empty the dust container, basically you'll be inhaling all the dust you just vacuumed.
But for the price it's still the easiest vac for quick clean up.

Hard to assemble Easy to use

We just ordered this October 1st/25....I knew it was inexpensive but didn`t think it would only last less then 4 months...the the metal inside the charger broke...came right out!  Also doesn`t keep a very long charge...thinking this may have been the reason now!

Waste of Money

Very disappointed with this vacuum. The suction is weak, the build quality feels cheap, and it struggles with basic cleaning tasks. It did not perform as advertised and was a waste of money. I would not recommend this product.

Don't waste your money on this

I have hard wood floor and I like to clean them twice s week. When I used it the dirt falls out. It is not picking up the light dirt. I use a swifter now that it not worth the time to try using the vacuum. I would like to send it back to Dirt Devil. I stop using it around 5 months ago so it's sitting in my closet taking up space.

Disappointed to say the least.
