purchased 2 weeks ago works better than expected we use it on hardwood great for dog hair we have a jack Russell

The Dirt Devil cordless vac with swipes is the perfect addition to my quick cleanup routine. I have 3 medium size dogs who bring a lot of sand and fur into the kitchen, and this tool takes care of it quickly and handily. The swiper is machine washable, and the battery seems to have a long life.

This product is a handy tool

So far this little hand held has delivered...I have a big dog...she's a shedder so, I needed something that would stand up to the daily use. I clean out the dust cup after each use so there are no issues with suction and I like that the duster picks up the stragglers. It doe's a pretty good job. The only thing I would change is to make it a little more powerful and a carpet rotating brush as, it doesn't pick up heavier materials like rice, or gravel granules.

Dirt Devil- cordless vacuum+duster

I bought this vacuum for the cottage, where there is always sand and pet hair on the floor. It works great for this application. It doesn't hold the charge very long, but enough for a small living area. I found it to be a good purchase for the application I needed it for.

Real Handy

I have bought 2 in the last few years and found it worked better then a dyson I have, the only problem is the battery craps out, make it stronger I would pay more for it as the concept is fantastic just work on the quality.

Great idea but it needs a better battery

As mentioned by others, the suction isn't that good, especially if used with the micropad duster. It worked better without it but because the micropad's holder is in rubber, it makes a noise if you go any other direction than forward. It does not work very well on carpet either. I had to return the product as it wasn't at all what I expected.

Not as expected

The suction power of this vacuum is very poor. When i press the button to turn it on and i start to vacuum it works for about 2 min. and then it stops. I'm very disappointed with this purchase and i would not recomend it.

Not good at all!

I bought this 3weeks ago and returned it.  The battery lasted 4 to 6 minutes.  Timed by stopwatch.  You would think they could have better technology.  The Swiffer lasts almost 3times as much.  What a disapointment.
