Plays physical games and movies on ps5 consoles.

Purchased two of these as Christmas gifts. One for my step son and one for my husband. If you're in the market for a PS5 but can't afford the one with a disk drive, buy the digital slim and wait a little while to purchase the disk drive when you can afford it. It's so easy to install a child could do it. Husband and step son are both happy!

Great gift for PS5 gamers

walmart.com

Easy to install quality picture and disc reading highly recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently bought a used Digital PS5, was really convenient that I could get this and just snap it on to play physical games and movies! Also, I saved $15 by purchasing it with my ONE card! Very happy!

Useful and worth the price!

Easy to install, do the job that it needs to do.

Changed my PS5

I got the PlayStation five Pro and it only comes in digital. Thankfully, my guy at GameStop let me know that I would be needing one of these and I was able to find it on Walmart for a lot cheaper than $80. That's what they were charging at GameStop the day I picked up my PlayStation five Pro. Save the money and buy the disc drive here. I don't know about you guys, but I always have liked to have the disc version just because it doesn't take up entirely too much memory and it makes it a little quicker unload up.

A must have for PlayStation five Pro

Works with my new PS5 pro. The panels are kinda tricky to get off because they snap loudly and I feel like I'm breaking it. Other than that, it was a breeze to install

Works with PS5 Pro

Looks amazing, installation was super easy (im a none gamer and have no clue how to even wire it up to connect to the tv and I installed this is less then 3 mins) my son has a digital one and received a lot of CD games so we went the extra mile and it was a GREAT choice. Definitely recommend

This is a must buy if you have a PS5 Pro or PS5 Digital. Sony is stopping disc production in 2028 so I recommend to buy this ASAP and start physical collecting if you haven't already. Very easy to set up, all you have to do is take off the correct panel and just clip the drive into place.

worked, quiet and seems to not run as hot. attached to my ps5 pro. simple and easy. pop the old cover off. insert rhe drive into place. pop the cover on( included with the disc drive ) insert new leg stands (also included) when installing on a ps5 pro.
