Can be competitively low, but also steep for some features.

Purchased two of these as Christmas gifts. One for my step son and one for my husband. If you're in the market for a PS5 but can't afford the one with a disk drive, buy the digital slim and wait a little while to purchase the  disk drive when you can afford it. It's so easy to install a child could do it. Husband and step son are both happy!

I was a little concerned that it would be complicated to install. It was not, it was super easy and straight forward. Definitely, would recommend getting one. Also, it comes with these little legs that keeps your PlayStation higher off the ground. To make up for the increased size in the disk drive.

Easily turns your PS5 into a GAME/BLUE RAY/DVD player. Colors match perfectly and makes the bottom of the PS5 more stable. Don't waste your money on a stand that just helps the PS5 ground itself. Those are usually around $50 bucks, when you can actually upgrade it and bring it more value for $80.

For the price it's unbeatable and I waited for 5 years to finally get my PlayStation 5 due to the scalpers and us gamers won. Final note good things come to those who wait never rush into buying a game system because of the glitch and bugs when it comes on the market.

Useful and worth the price!

if you need a Blu-ray Drive for your slim PlayStation 5 you can't go wrong with buying this only because it's the only one they sell  but please be aware it only works for the PlayStation 5 Slims or PlayStation 5 Pro if you have a first-generation PlayStation 5 digital version it won't work for it.
it must be the slim versions make sure you check what model of PlayStation you have before you buy this. other than that it's easy to install takes 5 Seconds you don't even need a screwdriver awesome product.

Waiting for the future

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had bought a PS5 for my grandson for Christmas and did not realized you couldn't play the games he got.  Found the disc drive for a reasonable price and it was here within a few days.

Working as intended. Slapped this baby on the PS5 Pro. It's a shame Playstation won't sell a disk drive with the Pro. All about making money now days.

Working as it was built to do.

A little pricey but the main issue is it makes you ultimately have to choose the region you use, so after 4 changes it locks. Why would I swap out the disk drive just to use it for two different regions when it's not easily swappable? and why would I buy another one when the first one was expensive enough? 

I enjoy PlayStation more than other consoles, but modern console gaming can be ridiculous. 

Still, it plays DVD and Blu-ray so I'm content. I haven't tried data discs yet, but I'm not too worried about it.

If you've bought this, enjoy but pick one region or you'll be stuck with the wrong one 😂

Couldn't get it to work for my digital ps5 is why Im giving it a low rating. Maybe it's good for a replacement disc drive but it doesn't work for digital consoles like I was hoping.
