Purchased two of these as Christmas gifts. One for my step son and one for my husband. If you're in the market for a PS5 but can't afford the one with a disk drive, buy the digital slim and wait a little while to purchase the  disk drive when you can afford it. It's so easy to install a child could do it. Husband and step son are both happy!

Useful and worth the price!

Installation was quick and intuitive. It snapped into place securely with little hassle. Once connected, game discs loaded smoothly. A seamless upgrade that delivers exactly what you'd expect from Sony hardware.

I got the PlayStation five Pro and it only comes in digital. Thankfully, my guy at GameStop let me know that I would be needing one of these and I was able to find it on Walmart for a lot cheaper than $80. That's what they were charging at GameStop the day I picked up my PlayStation five Pro. Save the money and buy the disc drive here. I don't know about you guys, but I always have liked to have the disc version just because it doesn't take up entirely too much memory and it makes it a little quicker unload up.

Works with my new PS5 pro.  The panels are kinda tricky to get off because they snap loudly and I feel like I'm breaking it.  Other than that, it was a breeze to install

Looks amazing, installation was super easy (im a none gamer and have no clue how to even wire it up to connect to the tv and I installed this is less then 3 mins) my son has a digital one and received a lot of CD games so we went the extra mile and it was a GREAT choice. Definitely recommend

I like the Disc Drive ad I buy mainly physical games.  This is actually a secondary drive just in case I need it. I have a feeling that these are going to go up in price before Sony kills of their physical games.

Easily turns your PS5 into a GAME/BLUE RAY/DVD player. Colors match perfectly and makes the bottom of the PS5 more stable. Don't waste your money on a stand that just helps the PS5 ground itself. Those are usually around $50 bucks, when you can actually upgrade it and bring it more value for $80.
