This came in the post. Opening the brown box it came in I looked at packaging and initially thought OH NO, thinking cos of shape of toy there would be lots of ties holding parts in place.

I was very very happy to find it very easy to get into the box..... there is a tab and a perforation all round front of lid....how cool is that. Was thinking how stress free that would make Christmas morning.... once you pull the perforated card back you just take the toy out.

My little boy (4yrs) played with it and had lots of fun. Unlike other Take and Play sets this on had some parts fold in and I thought the little garage for the car was great as with many playsets the car gets lost easily. My son played with it on and off, at home, outside, in our car and seemed quite robust. 

Only suggestion I might make is to include 2, not 1 cars in the set. It just makes it more fun straight off

Little one absolutely loves it!! We're all joining in the fun too, just hard to resist to have a go to be honest.... The car itself is very sturdy. You can also purchase more cars as rewards to add to the collection. It's very easy to fold and take it along anywhere and it's not heavy for children's hands at all.

Amazing

What a great toy this is, our 4 year old boy absolutely loves it and has been zooming Lightning McQueen around the tracks pretty much non stop since opening the box! An absolute must for any fans of the Cars films!

We brought this and was pleasantly surprised with how good it all was.
Made from strong plastic and seems quite sturdy.
My 5 year old was happy playing with it for about half an hour to 40 minutes.
My only criticism is that It only comes with one car. This being said packs of two cars are cheap enough to buy extras.

Fantastic Innovative design

This was easy to set up
And is great fun. I will be taking it on holiday as it folds away and is light and compact. No batteries needed which is always a plus.

Great fun and compact for transporting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son really liked the Disney Pixar Cars Mini Racers Crank & Crash Derby Playset. It let's him use his imagination to reinact the derby on Cars 3 by controlling which direction the cars race in. His favorite part about this set was that Lightning McQueen came with it and had a mud splattered paint job to match the dirt track course which made it seem alot more realistic. We had a few other mini Cars 3 cars so we were able to use them with this set. My son's only suggestion for improvement would be to hold about 10 cars in the storage compartment instead of 3.

On bringing the product home I found it easy to set up and put together. The instructions were clear and concise however were not required. I did however find that only one car/vehicle was included for use on the track and although it does state on the outside of the box that only one car was included I feel that this warning could be clearer as it would be very easy to buy the product and be disappointed when home trying to play demolition derby with one lonely car.

I feel that at least two cars should be included as standard and the warning advertising more cars required should be bigger and easier to read.

However with these simple upgrades this toy would easily have got 5 stars from myself.

Other than that this is a great purchase.

Decent but could easily be better

Bought this yesterday along with a 3 pack set of cars because it only comes with 1 and you can't have a demolition derby with 1 car. Today while looking at the cars, I noticed on all 4 cars the paint was a coming of few. I hope the paint is safe as my 2 of my 3 Kids we're  playing with it and my nephew. And by playing wjth it I mean they sat and watched while my oldest turned the crank for them. They enjoyed watching it though.  It is also quite noisy while being cranked....burn it is a derby I guess.

Disappointed for quality
