Comes with a few pieces that you will have to keep track of but worth the hassle. He plays with the track and then he packs the pieces and plays with Lightning. All around I would reccommend this toy highly for busy boys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves cars and the Disney movie cars.  He was so happy with this toy.  Not only is it easy to assemble. It keeps him busy for hours.  You can drive lighting around or transform his into a race track.   Awesome!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old son has enjoyed playing with the transforming Lightning McQueen playset. He sets up the race track and enjoys racing the cars and then transforms it back into the giant Lightning McQueen car and plays with it for hours.

Great 2 in 1 toy...Hours of fun!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved playing with this, setting it up and then breaking it back down. He was a little disappointed that it did not come with a small Lightening McQueen car, as he doesn't have one anymore, so that he could play with it, but he was able to use his other branded cars. It could use a couple more features, maybe better decals or even a couple other things that pop up for extra play, but overall he enjoyed it!

Lots of fun, but needed to come with a small car

The only downfalls are that some of the small pieces (especially the cone) are hard for him to get back off to close it, and the cars have to be purchased separately.  He is enjoying it and we just used cars he already had and they fit perfectly.

He was disappointed that there were no cars included to use on the race track. He has been having a lot of fun playing it with it. One thing that frustrated him was that he couldn't just fold it shut without taking some pieces off. All in all a great toy especially for kids that are fans of the Cars movies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the playset. It was bigger than I imagined. My 4 year old was shocked to see the car open up to become a playset so that was a plus. However putting everything together was time consuming for me because I'm not that handy. It was also disappointing that at least one little car was not included in the playset. But overall it is a great playset and I would consider buying future playsets.

Hours of fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this toy a bit over a month ago. My son seems to enjoy playing with it. We had some trouble setting it up as parts a very small, so definitely an adult job. But once it was ready he ran and grabbed cars to run down the track. He also enjoys using it as the "big blue car"  he calls it, however the transition between the 2 is somewhat difficult as all little pieces need to be removed and tucked just so inside to properly close it. overall he's enjoying it but perhaps it's more geared for older children? Or it could be adjusted so that parts stay put much like a transformer that just transforms without all the removal of parts?

Upon opening the box, the pieces were very easy to assemble. It did not come with any of the cars, but it seems that it will be a great track for the cars. My 5 year old son enjoyed just pushing McQueen around, but quickly lost interest. The box says 4+, so I think younger kids would enjoy more. Overall, it's a nice toy just maybe not for older kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great idea to have a toy where you can put all of the pieces inside.  You do need to remove all of the little pieces inside in order to get it closed.  It would be nice if it included one car with it.  A nice feature is once it is closed, you can play with it as a car, as the wheels roll.  My son enjoyed it for a little bit but didn't hold his interest for too long.  Overall, I would recommend this product, it's fun and like I mentioned, you can store all of the little pieces inside.
