I bought this product on Cyber Monday. I paid 60 dollars for it. I thought this was a good deal. However I did see it for sale at toys r us for 100.00. Walmart had it for sale normally for 80. bucks. I really like the castle but it does not come with any of the dolls therefore i think 60 bucks is fare but anything more than that no way not worth it. We will see how much see likes it when she opens it on x mas!

Nice Castle for my 4 year old

This was a Christmas gift for our daughter (and the only thing she asked Santa for) so she was thrilled to see it on Christmas morning. I think for what it is, it is pretty expensive, but she loves it and that's all the matters. It fits the full size dolls and comes with a few accessories (chair, desk, snowman, etc).

Daughter loves it

The castle is cute and is of good size but I feel it is not worth the money. The front castle doors are hard to close and I foresee them snapping before long. The floors are made of card stock and I don't think it would have cost that much to make them a little sturdier. There is one flag over to the side and to me it just looks lame. I kind of regret buying this, I think my children would have had more fun playing with the smaller castles. For the money, I could have bought both castles and sled (that comes with characters) for less than what I paid for this larger castle without dolls. But the kids like it, so I guess I will keep it.

Cute but I'm not impressed

Very nice, love that it fols together and shuts. My 6-yr old twin girls love it. However, I had to give them instructions on what not to do to avoid breaking some parts: if you just push down on Elsa's chair to snap in place, you will likely break the folding platform it goes on. You have to hold from the bottom the platform while you push in the chair. Removing the chair and folding the platform is necessary to fold shut the castle. The turning of the "wood" stairs for closing is another you need to be careful with. They could have designed these things better, less prone to breakage, especially for the cost.

Very cute, some parts could break

This playset is what I expected. Not five star quality but fair value for the money. So far it has held up well, to include being transported multiple times within the past month to grandparents' houses, friends, etc. My daughter loves it. It does come with many small parts and pieces so a container of some sort is suggested to keep everything together.

Meets Expectations

The castle is great! However I was shocked when Walmart sent it out in its original box. Knowing its Christmas they could have sent it in a cardboard box so my child did not know what was being delivered. I was very disappointed with Wakmart for that. Came home from work and there sits the castle on porch! Daughter was excited and Mom was mad!

Watch out if gift!

"Don't worry Elsa, I'll get you a castle. I'll ask Santa to bring it for you." This was a last minute request to Santa from my five year old, but was the main thing she wanted. Overall, she's happy and mostly, that's what matters...
But, she plays far more with the furniture pieces inside than the actual castle which isn't very user-friendly for a dollhouse type of item. She would have been reduced to tears on xmas morning if it wasn't there, but I would say she's a little disappointed with the product's shortcomings.
Here are her/my concerns:
1) Should be more dollhouse like - top floors really can't be used; and even the bottom floors have very limited room to play.
2) Slide is cute, but the dolls get stuck.
3) Stairs are ridiculous and barely functional....they are planks coming off a single rod, fanned out to be stairs - sort of like a free form spiral staircase, but missing a railing and a second side. My daughter didn't know what they were until we told her and she still doesn't get it. Considering how magnificient the stairs were in the movie, they should have made this better, at least for the ice castle side. My daughter wants the dolls to act out scenes in the movie, but she can't with those stairs.
4) Dolls, other than Olaf, aren't included. I realized this when I bought it, but my daughter (despite having two of them already) was heartbroken based on the commericals and the box. She wanted the Christoph doll and the crown on Elsa's head. Big disappointment for her.
5) Limited play value - this will take up a lot of space but not deliver on the play value. And you know I won't be able to convince her to part with it anytime soon.
6) Too many pieces for xmas morning. Rookie mistake I guess - we should have assembled the night before.

All in all - Not nearly worth $85 (now selling for $75, I've noticed). A big part of me feels incredibly resentful about Disney hijacking my wallet for the holiday. I would have been okay spending $50 bucks on this, but $90 when you add tax? C'mon. That's a big ticket toy for this age group - and this toy just doesn't deliver. I could have gotten a really nice dollhouse for that not much more than that amount, that she would have played with for years....

Unless your child is begging for this specifically, I'd avoid unless the price drops significantly. I'm giving it an extra star because it delivered the wow factor on xmas morning....but it's only 6 days after xmas and the castle itself hasn't been opened in two days. (the furniture and Olaf figure are being used).

Euphoria-Inducing large plastic hunk o Disney hype

Expensive for a bunch of plastic. It does nothing . My granddaughter plays with it but basically it is poorly constructed. It should be half the price. The Fisher Price Princess castle is built better and much more fun.

Grandaughter loves it but it does not do anything

I waited two weeks to get this product. I thought it would be as tall at the Barbie house and it is not. It doesn't have anything or so anything except for the slide on Elsa's side is the castle. Elsa's side is the cattle is also very very plain Jane. It also always falling down. It is definitely not worth $100!!!!

Not impressed for the price

I'm so disappointed in this. Half of it is flimsy thin cardboard and the other half is thin plastic. For the price I excepected something a little more sturdy.
