I have used a lot of Dixie Paper products over many years and I have never been disappointed! They are dependable, pretty to look at, withstand plenty of food, versatile, and easy to find. Any time I may have tried other brands, they have always let me down.

They also hold quite a bit!  They go perfectly in your cabinet dint take allt of space up. You can eat stack them if ya want on top of your  bigger plates.

I have been buying Dixie plates for 25-30 years. I don't buy as many nowadays because all my children are grown and make messes in their own homes. I am on a fixed income and the last time or two, I've had to buy an off brand. But I have always loved Dixie, I don't have anything negative to say about their plates. Quality is top notch. Not working anymore, I just can't afford top notch anymore.

Such an improvement over the regular plates that tended to get soggy, to bend and drop whatever you were holding and just generally are not acceptable. Then, I thought well, not much more for the Dixie brand and I knew that from my childhood (and I am 73 now) Dixie was a brand my family used for cups, plates and such. I tried these and found that the improvement was as dramatic over the store brand heavy duty as it had been over the regular plates. Worth a bit more for the peace of mind knowing what you put on the place will likely make it across the room...

Not only are the Dixie Ultra plates the strongest, but they come with the most beautiful designs and many coordinating paper products to create a perfect table setting. I love Dixie products. I have been a cheapest paper plate person for a long time. Then about a year ago I got the Dixie ultra plates on sale. I quickly realized that the cheap plates were a waste of money. Now I have two sizes of Dixie ultra plates and a pack of bowls at all times.

I've been buying the 10" ultra 3x plates for about a year now and the last 2 packs I've purchased are not good.  Everything soaks right through three plates within seconds.  Did something change in manufacturing materials?
