The recipes look interesting but I haven't tried any of them yet. As long as the book is on sale it is a buyer but at full price of $25 I'll just wait for the price to go down. That's what I did and for the price I paid you can't beat it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The recipes really are fantastic and accessible! It made a wonderful gift from my husband for our anniversary. It was actually kind of a romantic present from my husband because Stephen and Evie's love really comes through in the photos and writing.

Funny, tasty, and romantic too!

This is not just a cookbook. It's  an invitation to the Colbert's family home for delicious food and some warm and funny conversations. Also, I can't skip mentioning the beautiful photographs, the smooth paper, and the sturdiness of the book. Highly recommend.

Cook if you don't feel like cooking  :)

Very interesting stories intermixed with delicious recipes that are mostly very easy to prepare. Highly recommend purchasing this cookbook!

Seafood options and read the hysterical comments as we do it! Love this husband and wife collaboration- good food but also healthy options!

If you are considering it - buy it!!

While watching Stephen Colbert on his show one night, he mentioned he and his wife Evie had written a cookbook. Went online and ordered it right then. The recipes look yummy. The pictures of South Carolina are breathtaking. It was also great to see the Colbert children. Each recipe is simple to follow. Can't wait to try them.

If you're a high end dinner host/entertainer then this is for you. A lot of personal infor if you're interested in Colbert. Not really for the day to day ham and egger.

Fun... But not for everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many of the recipes in the book call for fresh seafood.   Where I live, fresh seafood is scarce and expensive.   The price for the ingredients in these recipes are beyond my means.  I returned the book to the store.
