I got this for my dad who uses a traditional shaver. This was an upgrade for him from the traditional twin blade. And he totally loved it and we are already looking to get the replacement blades. The shave is smooth, it doesn't leave any rashes and the weight of the handle is just about right. Feels good in the hands and does a really good job. Totally something that you look at from an ideal shave. Highly recommended and once you go for it it's hard to go back to anything else. Well, shaving is not one of my favorite activities. Especially since no matter what shave I use, I always get rashes. But so far that hasn't happened with the Dollar Shave Club 6-blade razor. So I think I found the good one. The price is affordable and the quality of the handle is excellent. I received this product at a discount price in exchange for my honest review.

The good one!

I have tried so many razors and blades and I would have to DSC is one of those brands which I will keep using. Most of the brands I have used, they usually cut me up little bit and it was not comfortable. I used DSC for 2 weeks not and I can't believe I haven't seen single cut and it's been smooth experience so far. Razor feels soft and easy to hold while shaving and importantly this feels so good for sensitive skin. In the beginning, handle felt little thick for my hand but after few uses I got a grip to it and it feels perfect on my hand now. Blades are perfect, Sharp and widely available at most stores and Amazon as well. I got two blades in the box and they will last me for over a month I think. One thing I wish to improve upon is the attaching blades with Razor. There should be a instruction on box or manual to guide. It took me a minute to fit both together. After getting to know it, it was easy when I changed blades again. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this Razors and I will definitely recommend it. *I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion*

One of My Favorite Brands - DSC

I've used the same 3-blade big-brand razor since college 15 years ago. Hard Stop. 
I'm not the ideal candidate for this... or so I thought. DSC saw a challenge and invited me to try out their new 6-blade system... and to be clear, I received this product in exchange for an honest opinion. So... I guess if you have a great product and you believe it to be superior; you place it in the gauntlet, and up to the test against a stoic user like me. I guess the thinking is: if you can convert a brand loyalist, they'll become an even harder advocate for you. They aren't wrong in that... 
Having tried the 6 blade for a few weeks now, there are many pros to be found (substantial heft/balance, design, pivot, better neck cut, less gel/cream needed), and only one real con (a bit too tightly spaced for a few larger hairs, leading to pulling in one area for me). There's also the unknown of longevity, which is why I at least waited a few weeks to post my thoughts... but so far, so good. 
Which brings me to the title - further exploration. While the trial set was just enough to make me a convert, there is a 4 blade option which I am going to try next, since I think that extra spacing could turn the con to pro. 
But even if not, the original 6 blade system has won me over.  

A great shave, which invites further exploration

I tested out Dollar Shave Club 6-Blade Razor Starter Set 1 handle, 2x 6-blade cartridges. I think this razor is great. It has a comfortable to hold handle. It gives me a smooth shave with no nicks. I'm able to get hair gone without having to go over it multiple times. This is a great product and I will use it again. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.  

Great razors

I hate shaving and am always looking for a good razor. I've heard a lot of hype about Dollar Shave Club and decided to try it for myself. WOW! I think Im hooked. I love the look and feel of the razor. I have a hard time holding a razor due to Rheumatoid Arthritis and let me tell you I love it. I normally can't feel the razor in my hand but the weight of it is perfect. The rubbery grips keeps it from slipping out of my hand. The neutral colors are soothing and blades are easy to attach. It's the closest and smoothest shave I've had. My stubble stayed away for 4 days unlike others to return within a day. The blades are super sharp. I had no Knicks around my knees or ankles due to the perfect pivoting head. I'm truly amazed. I do recommend and the price is just right. I've used the razor 5x and blades are still sharp. I received this item as an incentive for my honest review!

Super smooth

I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. The starter set comes with 2-6 blade cartridges that gave a nice close shave. I have used a dual razor shaver for years now, but I think this is my new fave! The flexible head is an addition that I have come to expect in a razor, but what won me as a new customer was the close shave!

My husband tried out the Dollar Shave Club razor. He was amazed at how well it worked. He said the 6 blades really gave him a smooth, close shave.  He usually only shaves about once a week but mentioned he will probably shave more often since using this particular razor. The hair on his face grows fast, so he has hair growth the next day after shaving. This is the perfect razor for taking care of stubble or a week's worth of facial hair. My husband has decided this is his new favorite razor and probably won't be using any other brand from now on. He highly recommends it to others who are looking for a clean, close and smooth shave. Very Nice Razor

I was using the shaver of another major national brand and i was overwhelmed with the price tags those blades comes with. I tried few shaving clubs and other products but they were good not so great. I came across DSC some time ago when i tried their shave balm and that opened door to try out this 6 blade shaving starter kit. I loved the grip and crisp cut of this blade. They are not sleek and crisp when they cut but the feel is also smooth. I am in Awe of results and totally recommend these. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

Awesome experience

It's no secret that women often use men razors and sometimes prefer them over the ones created for women. This is one of them! I love that comes packaged with backup blades. Smooth and gentle glide for even the most sensitive skin!

GOOD ENOUGH FOR WOMEN!

This has to be the worst razor I've ever bought. 6 blades....6 dull blades. It took me over half an hour just to get a somewhat decent shave on my legs. Not only were the blades extremely dull, the razor kept repeatedly popping off the handle. Do yourself a favor and do not buy these razors.
