This game has great graphics and is very funny to watch the boys play. It is really different from other games. There is cool tricks and tools to use. My 6 and 9 year old can both play together and they love it. I would definitely recommend this game.

Thought it would be like the old Donkey Kong, but it isn't but alot of fun.
Glad I got it... I would reccomend this to all members of the family...

One of my personal favorite Wii games, and a great throwback to a simpler time in gaming. The graphics are awesome for a wii game, and it is a blast to play. However be warned, this is NOT an easy game. It is in the spirit of earlier donkey kong country games back on the snes so do not expect to be sailing through. Their are parts that will frustrate the heck out of you. But overall, this is an amazing game and a must own for wii.

Donkey Kong is back and better than ever!

Awesome game reminds me of an updated versipn of the super nintendo one i loved playing growing up and the graphics are really nice too :)

This game has the best graphics for a wii game. It is not easy though, the first levels get you used to timing your jumps and there is no clock, so take your time. If you lose several lives in one stage the "super guide" feature (like in Super Mario Bros. wii) will ask you if you need help and can pass the stage for you. Two players can help each other but in later levels you should have the computerized diddy kong help you so you can control all the action. The second player may not jump just right and mess up the play. Your wii remote can be turned sideways to play or use the nunchuck with it. The classic controller is not supported. Each world will have a shop where you can buy extra lives, key to open a locked stage, and many other items to help you. Overall one of the best games for the wii but be prepared for a challenge.

A very fun game but it is not easy

I haven't played games on my wii in 3 years. This is my first new game in as much time. My son is 5 and I thought he may like to play some games with me so I bought this one. I like the game and so does my son. It's easy enough for him to control after a little practice, same for me. The two player game is player one as donkey kong and player two is the little monkey. So during the harder parts of the game my son gets the little monkey on donkey kongs back and I control them together as one. I like that I can help him through the hard parts. This is definately not a game for the heavy duty gamer, it's a wholesome family fun game.

Delivery of this product was very good. Product was purchased as a gift and recipient seems delighted with the game!

I would prefer the N64 version over this anyday. It's fun to play, but there are levels like in mario and you can only go up, down, left, right. You can't explore the island or worlds using your character which was great about the N64. There are also 3 chracters missing. I'm going to keep it as there is no other donkey kong game since the N64 until the past few years. I know the N64 version really well and need a change to a different donkey kong, but after playing the new one, I'd rather repeat the N64 Version. This is a once in a while game
