My 7 year old son bought this with his own money and watched a video to learn how to play it with his 6 year old brother. They played it together and seemed to have a basic unserstanding of the game. Last night we played it as a family for the first time and I loved it! Disclaimer: My sons are familiar with lots of games and they missed out on some of the games mechanics when teaching themselves but they did great when I explained the rules again as we played. Amusing game. Would recommend for older kids and adults!

This was a quick game to learn and we played it three times the first night we had it because it was so much fun! The art is really cute, the mechanics are simple enough to learn fast but complex enough to keep the replay value high, and it's a great balance of strategy and luck. Highly recommend!

This game is a regular game at game night. Fun and quick, but you can also make it longer if you want. Everyone I know always buys this game after we play it.

Best game this year

I love how easy it is to learn, but still has enough strategy to keep things interesting. The artwork is super cute and the trait cards are hilarious—some of them had us laughing out loud. Every game feels different because of the random Age and Catastrophe cards, which keeps it fresh no matter how many times you play.

It's a great mix of chaos and planning, and it plays fast, so no one gets bored waiting for their turn. Perfect for game night with friends or family. Highly recommend if you're into light card games with a fun theme!

I was shipped the wrong board game. Actually, I got 2 of the same board game that was not Doomlings. I've played the game before and recommend it for everyone to play. This review solely reflects Walmart's distribution center, not the Doomlings board game. I returned the incorrect games and was refunded for my purchase.
