This lantern gives off a lot of light. It seems well made.  In fact, we are planning to purchase another one.  Our power periodically goes out and these lanterns ought to come in handy.

Provides more light than I thought it would!  Light weight, appears good quality.

Good emergency lighting

An excellent choice for an emergency light to keep on hand for power outages. A bit large & heavy but not an issue unless you have to go to an outhouse. Great to sit on a table to light up a room. Also has 3 power level options to extend running time plus flashing red lights for highway emergencies or to send a message to alien life in outer space.

Dorcy Adventure Series 2000 Lumen LED Lantern

Would have given it a 5-star rating but sometimes LEDs grow dark very quickly but that's the only reason why I did not give it a 5 outside of that it's awesome!!

Lantern will not turn off.  It stays on all the time unless I remove the batteries.  On/Off Switch must be broken or defective.  Very low quality item.  Other than that one major flaw, it seems like a good lantern.

Defective right out of the box!
