I had a model like this before but the one before had a drop leaf on the right side of it that I loved having, but the manufacturer doesn't make that anymore. They replaced the drop leaf with a spice rack, otherwise it was identical. Unfortunately, we had a 5-gallon water jug with a towel under it on top of the kitchen island, and the towel ended up trapping water that leaked from the dispenser and caused mold in the wood top, so it had to be replaced. I tried to find a kitchen island with a drop leaf on the side again, but nobody else makes them either! I bought an inferior kitchen island that cost me more than this one despite having larger measurements on the outside. It didn't even fit my small appliances without propping up a grill handle, putting the instant pot lid upside down, and putting the stand mixer in on it's side. but the general build and design was also poor quality. after the spring support for the door broke recently, I decided 5 years was enough and bought this one. everything fits without "making it work". I was so happy when I got it put together and put everything in it and it's all perfect! But I still really miss that drop leaf on the right side.

Easy to put together.  All parts were labeled and step by step instructions were easy to follow.  Provides the extra space I needed for my kitchen gadgets and looks great.
