Very very soft right out of the package and has no issues when it first arrived, in terms of ripped seams or asymmetry. So it's in good condition.
The fur is very high quality and very soft! I don't think I've had a stuffed animal before be so soft. Definitely a good gift for someone and of decent size for any age.
My only critic (as someone who's nit-picky) is that the ears are small for a raccoon but if you don't care about exact accuracy, it's no big deal.
