Other review for this weren't great but I decided to give it a try and I'm pleasantly surprised. Nice smell and the biggest issue people are having- deodorant breaking off- hasn't happened. BUT I've been using it carefully. It's a soft smooth deodorant so really scraping it on isn't needed and it probably would break if someone did that. 
Even though there's less plastic packaging there is a lot of cardboard packaging which feels unnecessary.

Better than the reviews said

I received this as a #freeproduct to test and give an honest review on. I've been using aluminum free deodorant for 5+ years and have tried every kind on the market.

Pros
- silky texture and no white marks
- the smell is fresh but not perfume-y; it almost smells like a light floral soap
- packaging is cute and compact, which is great for travel
- environmentally friendly because it is refillable 
- most importantly, it works! I didn't need to reapply throughout the day, and it held up during intense workouts. 

Cons
- it's a little delicate. While I didn't have it break on me in the week I used it, I can see how it would be easily broken if you pressed too hard or dropped it. Definitely a con because it would be great for travel, although I don't know if I'd trust it in a bag that may get thrown around 
- it's about half the size of a regular deodorant (32g in this versus other brands that are usually 64-70g of product per deodorant) 
- because of the size, it's pricey. A refill of 2 32g deodorants is around the same price or slightly more than a number of aluminum free products for the same amount of total product 

Overall, I love the idea and this type of product, but I probably wouldn't recommend because it's more expensive and more delicate than other aluminum free deodorants that work just as well

Great concept, execution needs improvement

I was very excited about this deodorant...sad, I get excited about such things.  But the idea of having a refillable base is genius.  It feels and looks attractive and sturdy (heavy duty base).  But, I was very disappointed in the fact the cap doesn't snap on.  Every time I pick it up the cap falls off and i scrape up the sides of the deodorant. I traveled last week and when I opened my cosmetic bag, the cap was on one side and the open deodorant on the other.  I have not had any issues with the actual deodorant snapping off, which I thought might be an issue.  Please advise if the cap is supposed to "snap" on, I'm hoping I just got a bad one.

When I first started using this deodorant I loved it, and it worked great for me! I used up the whole thing with no issue at all. However, when I had to purchase a refill both of them broke off despite trying to be extra careful. Looking at reviews I see that a lot of others have had this problem. I would love to repurchase in the future if the issue is fixed!

Love the product, but keeps breaking!

I always used Dove deodorant, so I loved the idea of an aluminum free deodorant. I love the smell but after using this product a couple of time, it fell apart, I hope they fix this since it's a common issue.

Not great

I received this as a free sample from #Topbox I was extremely excited to try this product as I had seen it just recently at Walmart. It's a great concept I love how it smells but after just two uses the stick fell off. It's too slimy to hold and put on I would buy the product again if I had reassurance that it would stay on the actual stick

I bought this product yesterday, it smells great. I put it together like the packaging says, I put it on this morning, I almost dropped it because the lid came off. I smelled awful after about two hours and I work retail with people all day... not good. I got home and after my first swipe the stick came off the applicator! I can't believe I am stuck with this product and refills now.

Second Application

This is a very expensive product to just have to throw away. The deodorant fell off the base almost immediately. I put a new one on and used it lightly but the new one fell off as well.

loved the concept behind this, the was poorly executed. The deodorant fell right off after only 2 uses, and for the price point that's extremely disappointing.

Poor design

I love that this is refillable. And the scent is amazing! However, on the first use the deoderant broke off.  I was having to hold it on my hand to use it. I used a refill thinking I had swiped too hard, and it broke off also. Until this issue is resolved I won't be recommending it nor buying it again.
