I love the cucumber, melon deodorant. I love The scent how it smells so light in fruity. This deodorant works really well and holds up even during hot summer days. The scent is clean and fresh but not overpowering and it applies smoothly. The only downside is that leaving it on for more than 8 hours causes me some itching and irritation on my underarms. Overall, an affordable and effective anti-perspirant option.

Long lasting, but may cause irritation

I have used Dove "Cool Essentials" antiperspirant/deodorant for YEARS, as I am very sensitive to the odors and chemical compositions of other deodorants. Well, the two days ago, I opened a new stick of Dove Cool Essentials and put it on my underarms after my shower, as usual. Within 2 minutes, I noticed that my eyes and nose were burning inside and the odor from the Dove stick were overwhelmingly strong!!! I washed it off and thought maybe I was being overly sensitive. I had a previously opened travel size stick of Dove deodorant, so I used it with no problems. Last night, I tried the new stick of Dove and immediately had to wash it off. I asked my husband, who is not overly sensitive to smells, whether or not he could smell my new deodorant and he commented that he was wondering why he could smell it all the way across the bedroom, as he knows that I prefer mild, fresh scented deodorant. I cannot continue to use this product and will be making sure to tell everyone that uses Dove to be careful of the formula changes!!!! DOVE NEEDS TO BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA!

NEW FORMULA SUCKS

Dove has ruined  their advance care deodorant. The new ones with the different  cap (no rounded edges) smell bad, and they clump up and fall apart. It's different enough that after years of using it I've had to switch to a different brand. The newer dove deodorant is a huge downgrade, and a waste of money.

Horrible

This has been my go to deodorant for almost 20 years. New formula is terrible. It's the consistency of diaper cream in your pits but somehow crumbly at the same time. It leaves a horrible residue and is just bad overall. Super bummed because this has been my ride or die since the 8th grade.

New formula sucks

I have been using this product for years because it was the only deodorant that didn't make my armpits break out into a rash.  I thought that maybe only the packaging had changed but after I used it for a few days I realized the formula changed too.  After using it for 4 days I got red bumps on both armpits that itch like crazy.  I wish the packaging  said new formula to warn me but you have now lost a customer of 20 years.  Please bring back the old formula

New Formula Gave Me a Rash

the new formula sucks. it goes on so thick and crumbly, leaving stains on all of my shirts and just feels so gross to put on now. compared to my old formula stick, this is such a downgrade. should go back to the old one cuz it had none of these issues. stopped buying this and started getting a spray deodorant instead.
