I have dry skin. It's terrible. Every product I try smells great but leaves my skin so dry. Afterwards. I apply lotion but it just really does not help my skin. I found this Dove moisturizing liquid body wash and it is amazing. It smells so good. It does not try my skin out. After I use it, I see that my skin is so soft. I still use lotion but it is so good. I love taking a shower with this because usually every other product I try get out of the shower my skin feels tight. It feels dried out like a desert floor. But with Dove moisturizing liquid body wash cleanser, I get out of the shower now and my skin feels great. I am so grateful I found this product. I would highly recommend it to anybody. Even if you don't have dry skin, you would still love this product. But if you do have dry skin, you'll love it even more because it's created perfectly for dry skin. Your skin will thank you.

Gentle on dry skin, smells lovely, makes skin soft

This lotion is nice besides the fact i ordered hair conditioner.  It was for an overnight trip.  I didn't want to take my big bottle but had to anyway.  I can see why the mix up, both the lotion %26 conditioner came in the same exact bottle with the exception of one saying lotion and one saying hair conditioner.  If the shopper was rushing %26 not reading the bottles i can see how it happened.  oh well.

I am in charge of buying some of the groceries for our house and I bought Dove body wash for every single person in the house and my brother and son just looked at me like I was insane. But they ended up using the body wash and liking it. They said it is very refreshing and it doesn't make you feel ashy like a lot of soaps do. They liked the smell of the body wash and were very happy with the product. I told them not to judge it until they try it.

Dove Body Wash

Bought as small gift. Purchased Dove as it is well known name brand that is reliable. Receuver if guft very happy, Akso purchased washcloth of color in bottle (blue) wrapped with white ribbon. wash cloth folded on angle with body wash tucked inside. Very nice looking gift.

I remember as a child using the Dove bar soap.  Oh, the smell!  Well, here we are in Arizona with a very dry environment.  I have very dry skin so I use the Dove liquid soap for cleansing.  It still has that "clean smell" and it helps soothe my very dry skin!  I even use Dove whole body deodorant, Dove Beauty and Even Tone Body Lotion - for Normal, Mature Skin with Retinol.  Trust me, at the age of 74 I truly need this kind of help!!!  Did I mention the Dove shampoo and conditioner intensive repair?  Oh! and the Dove lotion for dry skin!  There's even more!!!  You will LOVE DOVE!

I don't know how to describe what is wrong with this product. I know the aim is for moisturizing, but it feels more like lotion than soap. and it is a strong fragrance. the fragrance does mostly  wash off but it is right in your face when you're using it.

a little bit slick and overly scented

Need a high pressure shower head to be able to remove the soap from skin or risk having soap on you that may cause itchiness. Its pretty thick, dont like the smell much. Cleans okay. I just wished it was easy to rinse off skin. Have to spend more time rinsing it off and even then prolly not get it all off.

Not for me

While the pump bottle is very convenient to use in the shower, the formula itself was a huge disappointment. Despite the claims of being moisturizing, this product left my skin feeling stripped and the opposite of hydrated.

​The lathering was fine, but shortly after using it, I developed a red, itchy rash and a painful burning sensation. It was so uncomfortable that I had to discard the product entirely. I really wanted this to work for my daily routine, but it was a total waste of money. If you have any skin sensitivities, please be careful I ended up throwing the whole bottle away.

Caused burning rash had to throw away

After using the Dove Body Wash with Pump (24‑Hour Lotion-Soft Skin Deep Moisture Cleanser) for the very first time, I had an unexpectedly harsh reaction. Instead of feeling moisturized, my skin — especially my face — became scaly, scratchy, and intensely itchy. It felt like my face was burning.My husband even noticed that my facial skin was peeling badly, which I initially assumed was just dryness. Once I got to my makeup mirror, I realized how irritated my skin truly was and immediately re‑cleansed to make sure the product was completely removed.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this body wash.

SKIN IRRITANT

Nothing wrong with the actual product, however, this is listed as body wash but it's actually lotion. If you take a close look at the picture they have for this product you will see that it's lotion and not body wash. This led to me receiving the wrong product.
