I was skeptical at first because the Dove white beauty bar/body wash is the only thing that WAS compatible with my super sensitive body…but I wanted to add an antibacterial soap to my beauty regimen…low and behold…BOOM!! It works with no irritation or offsetting of the ph balance!!🎉🎉🎉

Overall, I loved this soap. Typically I use Dove sensitive bars but wanted to try their antibacterial bars as well. Usually antibacterial soap dries my skin out but this soap did not. It was very gentle and moisturizing on the skin. I can even see a difference with it clearing breakouts. The only thing that I wish was different about this soap was the scent. It's pretty strong and lingers after a shower. I would describe it as a floral/musk/fresh type of fragrance. Hopefully, in the future they will make an antibacterial soap that is fragrance free. Even so, I would purchase again since it's such great quality.

Very nice soap

When I first bought it, I loved it. When I ran out, I couldn't find it again because I couldn't remember what it was called and so forth. I bought numerous other brands and quantities. I searched and searched! I finally found it! It is my go-to soap bar. LOVE the scent! I hope they never run out of this stuff. Thanks DOVE. Good Job!

The best

I like Dove bar antibacterial soap for the ease of use, smell and odor control. I first tried the Dove antibacterial liquid body wash and liked it because of the scent and odor control for the entire day. I decided to give the bar of soap a try and like it better just because I prefer a very bubbly and soapy washcloth. The Dove shampoo is great too!

I really like that Dove has an antibacterial option. 
This wash not as harsh as other bar antibacterial soaps I have used.  It has a lighter smell and lathers comparable to other Dove bar soaps. 
I will purchase again especially in colder months when dry skin is more of an issue.

Great antibacterial option

I am a huge DOVE fan and sometime they don't get it but most of the time they do get it ! This particular body bar soap  is GOT!
I love the scent of this ,not overly perfumed ,and it lathers very rich! I had not used this particular DOVE product before but I am 
most definitely going to purchase again ! I highly recommend if you like a nice and crisp clean smell...you'll love it too!

My New Favorite!

The soap lathers well and works effectively without drying out my skin. The only downside is that the scent is just okay; it's better than some other antibacterial options but not particularly impressive. However, since the fragrance doesn't linger on the skin, it's not a major issue.

Effective Cleansing with a Mild Scent

Formula changed, it's a different color now, never had an issue with the old one but now completely dries my skin out leaving no moisture in sight, to a point of making me itchy and uncomfortable. Used to repurchase the old bars every time but won't be buying this anymore. If you don't have dry/sensitive skin I'm sure you'd be fine, smell is nice and clean

This item is listed as unscented on your website and it is absolutely not unscented. It has the strongest, perfume-like smell and for health reasons, I cannot use it. Fix your website listing!

I'm sure it's probably a good quality soap given the brand reputation for being moisturizing and gentle... if you can stand the smell. I find it baffling that Dove built its image on being good for sensitive skin, but more and more data is coming out about how artificial fragrance is not only bad for your skin, but it actually makes it more sensitive over time. The smell is unbearably, overly strong and unnecessary, especially if you're planning to use it on your face. I couldn't even tolerate it after taking it out of the packaging and couldn't use it. Dove needs to reconsider what sensitive skin actually needs.
