This scent is great, the lather is awesome, and I really appreciate those little scrubbing beads, but the BEST thing about this product is its staying power.

My husband loved this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo is not only effective for washing and nourishing my hair, but the scent is very inviting. It smells like a combination of citrus peel, and vanilla. Along with that, it helps bring back life to my beard after a hard day of working with metals. The petroleum-based coolants get all over me, but Dove for Men+Care Elements Charcoal + Clay Body Wash has no issue removing the residual chemicals I get hit with.

Get lost in the scent!

Headline said it all. This product leaves me feeling clean while treating my skin well and I smell great long after the shower. Make it in bar soap!

Feel clean, smell clean

Shampoo is my favorite side of effectiveness. Only small negatives the smell is nice but rather strong. I received this product for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review.

I love this scent, but would love it without the tiny beads

The Scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always enjoyed using dove body wash; not only does the scent always smell wonderful, but it feels like it's actually hydrating my skin. Normally, I try to stay away from products labeled “for men,” as I feel my skin usually feels dry and slightly irritated afterwards (the only products I use that are intended for men are deodorant and cologne). When I received this product, I by chance had just run out of body wash the night prior, so this went directly into my shower and I was pretty excited to try it. I used this product over the course of about 4 weeks (as did my spouse) and we both had very similar options (surprise, surprise!). I thought the product smelled fantastic, it left my skin feeling hydrated, left me with that feeling of “clean," and I loved the charcoal aspect of the product (as I have been getting into the charcoal trend lately). However, this product did leave something to be desired. 
	There were two things that I absolutely disliked about this product; The micro-beads and the lather. I felt that the micro-beads at times did not wash completely out of body hair (for example, I once picked micro-beads out of my leg hair after a shower because although I rinsed well, they just decided to make themselves feel at home); this didn't always happen, but when it did, it was a huge inconvenience. The lather was also something I was disappointed in; unless you were using a loofa (which lets be honest, is not an everyday activity), the lather was pathetic. I feel like a lather is telling me it's working and allows me to see where I may have missed washing, but this did not lather (well, there was just a little lather, but nothing to “ooh-and-ahh” about), and thus, I stopped using it as an everyday body wash, unless again, I was using my loofa (in which case, the lather was fantastic) or I had just finished working out (which this makes a great after gym product).
	Overall, I thought this product did exactly what it was intended to do. It left my skin feeling hydrated, smelling great, and feeling clean. I definitely would purchase this product again, specifically to use after I am done working out. I recommend this to guys (or gals) who don't really care about the lather or the micro-beads possibly being caught in hair. It should be noted, that I did receive this product in exchange for my honest opinion and reviewing purposes; I do know that my experience will not be the same as another's, but all information is provided to allow the consumer the ability to make an informed decision.

Hydrating Body-Wash That Leaves You Feeling Clean!

I'm not a health freak but if a product contains "Dmdm Hydantoin" and there is many, many bad things stated about this, I'm not using this product anymore. Seems like it could do more harm in the long run than help.
